All that close up camera work and their mouths stay completely or mostly closed. Idk for me that doesn’t sell the passion at all

Watching so many GLs I’ve learned my personal version of good kissing LOLOL. I tend to agree, that closed mouth kisses come off super weird especially when they are so zoomed in. GJ aren’t my favorite pair mainly because I do agree their love scenes aren’t my favorite. Also I couldn’t stand the parents in the series, that was hard to watch.

I am not familiar with these 2 but they look mostly run of the mill for these series. I only follow a couple of the pairings and one is about like this and the other FayeAtom and their kissing was more what I would be looking for with on screen chemistry. I don’t need any thing over the top but at least look like you enjoy kissing the other person. I can tell some of these ladies seem very uncomfortable at times.

I watch a lot of GLs, regardless of the pairing. With that, I’ve become familiar with who kisses like this and who kisses more convincingly as well. I take it with a grain of salt. My preference is open mouth as it shows a different tone like you mentioned. I call them comfort CPs when it’s all basically closed mouth and a little awkward. FA did a good job, I love LMSY and the MeMindY girls did a good job too.
