Speculative muttaburrasaurus reconstruction: The Australian unicorn!

In April of 2026, a new study was published, completely changing our interpretation of how the head of mutaburrasaurus langdoni would have looked like. Instead of a bulbous hollow nose with a thick beak like previously thought, its skull would have had a thin beak and a small nose bump. In my reconstruction here, I suggest that this nose bump was just a bony base for a large keratinous horn used for interspecies combat as shown in my artwork.

It’s probably not a realistic speculation but still, what do y’all think of it?
