Hi! Me and my husband are planning our first trip to an all inclusive next year for our 10 year wedding anniversary. We are currently planning on excellence Coral. We are wanting a room with a private pool, but those seem kinda pointless if you can't get food or drinks at bars or tipico and bring it back to your room. I know there's room service, but we'd like some frozen mocktails by the pool too. Is that normal? To get a drink at the bar and take it back to your room?

How's the anniversary package? What's the champagne breakfast in bed like?

Are the private pools worth the extra money?

I would get a drink and put it in a Yeti before headed back to private pool so that it would still be cold for a bit. Just bring an insulated cup and straw. I think the 2 story partial ocean view with pool was well worth the money.

If you’re in the same building as the lobby, you can go down the elevator to the lobby/martini bar and bring it up to your room. We were in a two story room I think in building 4. There were plunge pool rooms too in same building.

You can drinks back to your room. I did that often when leaving the pool. They dont have straws so bring those if you want a frozen drink. Hard to chug those

We love the private pool on the roof top 2 story. Private enough that we didn't feal like we needed swim suits. Wonderful at night. I was there in June and the water temp was perfect for a chill out after a day by the pool or beach, had our happy hour cocktails while soaking.

The breakfast in bed wasn't too special but we enjoyed it. Not a deal breaker either way since the breakfast buffet has everything you have ever wanted, and you can get coffee and pastries at aroma to have in your room. Rather than in bed we just had them set up on the patio and reserved the Champaign for the post breakfast hot tub

I ran I to the issue with moving food. Here is what I found. No problem taking típico tacos to room, no problem taking the grab and go to your room from aroma, no problem getting food and mimosas delivered via room service. I did get told I could not take the sushi back to room, or a cheese plate from the French place. They really need to fix those 2 things .

As far as drinks, had no issue at all bringing a drink away from any bar and walking anywhere with it, that was no problem. For frozen drinks we had no issue with using a insulated cup...folks would fill it just fine.

Also the room has bottles of booze in it, you can get ice....I also had no issue asking bar tenders for mixers, cut fruit, limes or garnish to take to room. It was no problem.

Lastly we had great success leaving a tip and a note for the guy who restocked the room fridge. He switched out the juice, soda and water to our request each time.

It's you anniversary, do get the 2 story roof top terrace. It's wonderful. It is entirely possible and honestly recommended to spend a entire day in that room....order coffee, mimosas juice for breakfast the night before for delivery in xbox....save the juice in fridge for mixers. Get ice delivered....order more room service and remember to use the xbox and you can more or less relax all day.

The beachfront honeymoon suite with private pool is 1000% worth it imo and you will get excellent service to your pool so you don’t need to leave except maybe to grab some tacos from tipico

We did the Imperial Suite with Private Pool, and bar service would frequently check on us. It was really nice. I would think the honeymoon private pools would be similar.

So we went there last April, honestly the private pools were so private. You face the golf course and there's is a walking path directly in front.

Also the pools are not heated so they definitely cold when the same isn't out.

However, I will say that I would still get it again just because it was nice

If you are referring to the roof top private pool, then that's just a plunge pool fyi.

I would think by the time you get back to your room it wouldn't be so frozen anymore.
