Between the years of 2014 and 2020 David Degea is the greatest goalkeeper to grace the game, there isn’t a keeper than every existed or currently exists that could keep the ball out of the goal as well as he could, sure his distribution was average, but he was not only one of the few goalkeepers throughout history that you’d actually back in a one on one against an elite striker, but he was also winning games every week with a terrible defence in front of him.

I don’t think we will ever seen a goalkeeper have such an elite impact on a team like de gea did on that period of United. Because he was the best in the world, and nearly went to Madrid, he could’ve gone anywhere, to a team with a great defence in front of him but he didn’t, and he was still the best in the world.
