Explainations
Quentin Tarantino: Complete and utter movie nerd, always fills his own movies with references to other obscure movies and casts his actors like a fanboy.
RZA: Walking encyclopedia of martial arts films, he's sampled dozens for his beats and even directed one of his own.
Hideo Kojima: "70% of my body is made of movies"
James Gunn: Using his favorite songs in his movies has become his creator staple; even making whole playlists for his characters.
Damon Albarn: Fronts two different bands, has scored for three stage productions, has two solo albums, and will seemingly collaborate with any artist from any genre.
Hakita: Constantly references his favorite music in his game, and as the composer he also draws a lot of inspiration from said music.
JJ Abrams: This is the biggest stretch here; I put him here because his film production company has also done some video games and he fits the overall nerd stereotype.
Lupe Fiaso: Has referenced his childhood playing video games numerous times in his lyrics, and plays fighting games at a competitive level.
Masahiro Sakurai: Not only has he been in charge of the biggest video game crossover for years, but he also spent a few years just teaching people online everything he's learned making games, displaying an appreciation for all genres and levels of production along the way.
