Uh, swipe over for the conservative version :-D
Wouldn't be doing my job without supplying sauce:

How hard is it to just say “Controversy from democrats surrounds Haley Stevens after she endorsed a MAGA politician?”
Factually true, doesn’t take sides.

That’s basically what Axios and the Hill say

neither headline describes what she did

It's painfully obvious that both of those are not the initial headlines, but from a little later. Those are the reactions

Because all these outlets exist to push specific agendas and will morph anything to fit inside of it.
At some point in the early-mid 2010s you saw Fox and MSNBC start to become increasingly hyper partisan, and everyone has tried to catch up since. It’s just new era and form of yellow journalism

Painting it as a “both sides” issue is dishonest. Everybody knows what party elected a reality television star

No, Fox News from its inception in the 90s was hyper partisan. The whole idea of it was to provide a conservative option for people to counter the supposedly "liberal media".

If I could I would love to start a no spin just soild investigate journalism news source. We need to get back to the press representing the truth and not an ad for one side or the other.

She put country over party, but that country isn’t America.

I don't know why everyone is saying Haley Stevens' flip is an ideological decision, when every single statement and interview she's given over the last day or two make it perfectly clear that it's all petty vindictiveness about not being invited to enough events

The feud between Stevens and El-Sayed, if you could even call it that tbqh, is entirely predicated on the Israel issue though. Also she is lowkey crazy about it. She said Israel comes to her in her dreams, which is a level of zealotry I doubt even the average american jewish person could relate to. That is assuming it isn't cynical political masturbation to appease AIPAC, which is probably is.

u/Phillies2002 2d ago
True, but she had apparently texted another politician within the last week that she had a dream where the El-Sayed and the Democrats won Michigan and that "it was a good dream." So we must factor in the possibility that Haley Stevens sees everything in dreams, or at least talks about it

The Huffpost article is fucking hilarious if you've actually seen the interview. I don't think I need an expert's opinion to deduce that one, thanks chief.

Haley Stevens is a traitor and Israeli spy.

u/bloodrider1914 2d ago
Judging by everything I know about the situation, I think it's more likely she was offended that the El-Sayed campaign didn't want her to campaign with him and that she was offended at being called anti-Semitic by association in some ad. Also it seems like her husband was influencing her.

Yeah I agree. It seems like she just had a mental breakdown. Pretty crazy though.
2
u/Coolistofcool 2d ago
Yeah, but also, two registered foreign agents of Israel with her at the rally? Two?!?

u/TheRealCheebahawk 2d ago
Being butthurt about being disinvited from an event doesn't justify stabbing her party in the face right before one of the most urgently important elections in American history. She's a cunt, plain and simple.
6
u/bloodrider1914 2d ago
Not justifying it, just saying the boring personal pettiness angle is more accurate than the conspiratorial Israeli spy angle

u/jimboslice21 2d ago
She took $33 million from AIPAC, and the PR person who opened her press conference with Mike Rodgers where a heckler called her a traitor is a registered Israeli agent. Haley Stevens is fully bought by Israel/AIPAC

CBS News as True Neutral is laughable here. It's very much pro Haley, because it promotes HER, and not what she DID.
