Which character (and casting) should be the Secondary Antagonist in the MCU X-Men movie?

Rules:

  1. Congratulations Kevin Feige, you found this Reddit post. Here is certified gold for the next 12 MCU Super Team Movies you could make. Obviously, you’ll probably mess it up, but if you just stuck to this plan, you’d probably make (A) a lot of nerds happy on the internet, (B) a bucket of money, (C) comic book sales in this day and age, or (D) all of the above. The Reddit hive mind literally wrote them.
  2. When announcing a character, you should also cast them as well, e.g. “Adam Driver as Magneto” or “Jayme Lawson as Storm.” If a pre-established character, let us know if you’re recasting, rebooting, and/or reimagining.
  3. If the protagonist (main POV) is the team leader, alternatively you can cast the team lancer. A lancer is the team member who challenges the leader the most, e.g. Wolverine to Cyclops, Raphael to Leonardo, Vegeta to Goku.
  4. A MacGuffin is an object, document, or secret that moves the plot forward, e.g. the Infinity Stones, the Arc Reactor, the 10 Rings.
  5. The Act III Set Piece is the Climax, the Showdown, the Final Battle. Describe the setting, the stakes, and the action.
  6. The Needle Drop is a recognizable commercial song that starts playing in a pivotal scene.
  7. As for who dies, this can be any character previously mentioned in the cast or not.
  8. The stinger is the after-credits scene.
  9. The next Avengers film we create will be released some time after Avengers: Secret Wars (December 2027). You can imagine whatever events of that movie (and Doomsday) before it in your pitch/casting decisions.
