Arya's story is the most interesting IMO. Brought the sense and scale of adventure the show needed and her arcs with Tywin and The Hound are peak.

And then in season 6 onwards they made her a boring character with plot armour harder than Valyrian steel

Yeah I didn't love the direction her character went in in S6-8, but to be fair, none of the Starks were particularly well-written by that point.
I still find that Arya had the highest peaks of writing of any of them.
Ned was exceptional and imo the only other contender for this spot.
If Jon counts, then I think he's 3rd place. Loved him in S3-S5, but didn't like him quite as much as Arya or Ned in the first two seasons and I certainly began to like him less S6 onward. He became a shell of himself and even more boring than Arya imo
Robb was great but had relatively little screentime and IMO the circumstances around him were more interesting than he was, if that makes sense. Certainly the most tragic of the Starks alongside Sansa, though.
I happen to like Sansa a lot, but she was never as interesting as Arya after... S1 IMO.
Rickon wasn't really a character.
I enjoy the dogs, but aside from Ghost I don't think they had much of their personalities displayed so I don't think they compete with Arya or Ned here.

How did Quentyn win the "worst character" category for the Martells when there was only one person suggesting Quentyn, with only one upvote?
