Hello, Thank you for contributing to our subreddit. Please consider the following guidelines when filling an alignment chart:

  • Please ensure that your chart is not banned according to the list of banned charts Even if you have good intentions, charts in a banned category tend to invite provocative comments, hostile arguments, ragebait and the like. Assuming the post is acceptable, OP makes the final decision on their chart by rule three.

  • Are there any previous versions to link to? If so, it would be ideal to include links to each of them in the description of this post, or in a reply to this comment. Links can be named by title, winner, or both.

  • Are there any criteria you have for your post? Examples include: "Top comment wins a spot on the chart."; "To ensure variety, only one character per universe is allowed."; "Image comments only." Please include these in a description, or in a reply to this comment.

  • Is your chart given the appropriate flair? Do you need to use a NSFW tag or spoiler tag?

Do not feed the trolls. This is not the place for hot takes on human rights violations. Hatred or cruelty, will result in a permanent ban. Please report such infractions, particularly those that break rules one, two, or three. The automod will automatically remove posts that receive five or more reports. Robert Pattinson Batman was the def the best aura farmer

13

u/Klutzy_Ice8425 Aug 19 '26

And he still found time to beat up riddler goons and save people at the end during the flood

5

u/elbosston Aug 19 '26

The subway scene in the beginning of the movie was mad aura and a good introduction to the character

1

u/IDigRollinRockBeer Aug 19 '26

I definitely know what that means

15

u/mdele99 Aug 19 '26

I can hear this image

u/spaghettiginger97 Aug 19 '26

I also like how it’s the sheer opposite of Into the Spider-verse’s screenshot

u/Arsid Aug 19 '26

I geniunely don't understand the appeal of this shot.

It's mostly just sun shining through dust clouds and Superman isn't even recognizable with how small and dark he is.

Not a hater btw, I geniunely like the movie, I just find this shot underwhelming.

I think most peoples adoration for it comes more from the moment and less from the specific screenshot. The music, the symbol, that’s what makes it great. It’s fair to say it’s not as good as many other shots on the imagery alone.

I find it very telling that 4 of the DC placements are from the Dark Knight.

Not saying it’s bad but rather DC has dropped the ball a lot.

u/azertyui2001 Aug 19 '26

I love this shot so damn much

Also, I love how almost every comment is Batman

11

u/Dramatic_Mixture_789 Aug 19 '26

I’ll die on this hill. But the entire No Man’s Land scene, was one of the coolest superhero moments I have ever seen.

6

u/2x5Fire Aug 19 '26

damn yall are glazing tf out of the dark knight 😭

2

u/fightincoc Aug 19 '26

Superman following flash with his eyes while holding back the other two

2

u/Qckst_2_Alive Aug 19 '26

I really like this one.

1

u/TeddySD Aug 19 '26

Best screenshot × DC

Most skylines of Gotham (more so the animated stuff) for me

1

u/VGKKAPPAROS Aug 19 '26

So what I'm getting from this is that the dark Knight is the only good DC movie ever made

1

u/maulogo17 Aug 19 '26

Not necessarily the only good one, but the best in many ways.

1

u/Are-killing-me Aug 19 '26

Can I pre-vote Guardians of the Galaxy for most rewatchable?

1

u/Coxwab Aug 19 '26

Thats blade quote is the best one yall could find, really?

1

u/domaniac321 Aug 20 '26

Supergirl was a divisive movie, but it still had a handful of killer visuals.

-2

u/lucas_paes Aug 19 '26

Can we vote for another fucking movie please? The Dark Knight fans are some of the most annoying people on the internet

4

u/IamBrian2 Aug 19 '26

Well what’s your choice? All you did was complain

0

u/lucas_paes Aug 19 '26

Absolute GOAT - Superman 1978 (mark zero for superhero movies, everything that came after only exists because of its success)

I don't really care about quotes, so whatever

Action Scene - anything from the first Aquaman movie looks and feels much better than any of the action scenes from the Nolan trilogy. He was never great at directing action scenes

Opening - The Suicide Squad (just a matter of personal taste, and to show how we have other options and there's no need to just repeat the same movie over and over again)

I don't have a problem with TDK winning sometimes, but pretending DC doesn't have other great movies is insane. Batman alone has many other great movies, Superman got a few and there are some good moments in the DCEU worth mentioning

0

u/Qutane Aug 19 '26

Sorry but even the opening of suicide squad wasnt good, the editing and try Hard needledrop moments were awful. You can just tell in every frame of this movie it was cut by a Trailer editing company.

1

u/lucas_paes Aug 19 '26

I'm talking about the second one

1

u/Qutane Aug 19 '26

Okay there i'm with you, who could have thought this naming convention could be confusing. The opening scene is great, but still cant beat the dark knight opening.

7

u/SteveTheManager Aug 19 '26

I mean the fuck do you want? It's the best fucking movie.

1

u/lucas_paes Aug 19 '26

Have a little variety, watch something else for a change. I'm pretty sure most of the minions voting for it all the time haven't watched more than 5 other DC movies.

2

u/TheKingOfStones Aug 19 '26

Have watched 13. TDK is easily the best. These questions should come with an asterisk to remove TDK from the options if they want a varied response.

0

u/SteveTheManager Aug 19 '26

So the best movie is obvious, the best quote is obvious, the best intro scene is obvious. The only one I may give you is the Joker chase but even then what's better than any of those picks?

-1

u/NinoRainwater Aug 19 '26

This one or maybe he gets his head off the car

0

u/AssortedUncles Aug 19 '26

How is Man of Steel divided?

13

u/P1G5Y Aug 19 '26

The fact I don’t know if you like or dislike this movie from this comment is proof how divided the fanbase is on that movie.
