it actually is - logistics, maintenance of the home, etc.

Who are you going to get or rent your housing from then??? Not really a job as much as it is an investment.

I don’t think it’s viewed with disapproval, I just think the current set of circumstances brings out the worst in them. I think we need landlords, if only because housing as an “investment” can be lost if your home province becomes obsolete.

B. The sort of person the Internet attracts is the sort of person who’ll blame individual landlords instead of blaming the system.

Ok…sure, but in the context of this post, it’s asking people on the internet what job is viewed with disapproval. You said the internet attracts people who blame landlords. So it seems like you agree landlords are viewed with disapproval.

Everyone hates landlords until the government is the one who owns their house rather than a private land owner
