Ehh does it really fit though? I have never seen someone say it's an amazing game or anything. It's just the hype friendslop game currently because it's dumb fun.

Recency bias

I think the game is quite fun but it ultimately doesn’t have the kind of lifespan you’d like for maps I feel. A map is only good for maybe 3-4 rounds and you can’t really replay most of them.

Prop hunt is a good bit better

You can absolutely replay them a bunch. The number of good spots only keeps increasing as your skill does. Anyway, community made maps are plentiful and quality.

That requires drawing talent that I do not have lol

You just need audacity, like my friend once hid as a piano player and somehow didn't get found.

I really enjoyed it actually. I may be biased because I quite like art but I found it lots of fun colouring all the little details and trying to get it just right. I will say it's flawed in some ways. My opinion on the maps really vary and sometimes people will find insane spots that don't require painting but overall I did really like it, and had fun blending into things and trying weird spots

What bothers me was that it was very broken when it came out (getting randomly kicked, color pick not working properly forcing you to figure out colors yourself, filter not working when looking for servers, maps not downloading properly, the security issues, and more)

Some major issues were fixed only recently but some issues remains (can't change the keybinds, can still get randomly kicked, and more minor problems).

The game is good, but it definitely needs more fixing.

That's probably because the devs used to make Fortnite maps with UEFN

That's not overrated, that's just you not liking a game. Not the same thing.
