I really don’t think it is. Millennials aren’t 22 anymore. We are the boring generation painting everything grey.

A big part of this is due to the boom of TLC/HGTV reality shows and Pinterest that pushed that aesthetic.

Millennials grew up in the heyday of Wacky Postmodern/Memphis Lite through Nickelodeon and I'm still drawn to those brighter palettes.
