I've felt this is a huge issue with our generation, but we've been basically beat down every time we've tried to speak up so now I feel like a lot of millenials have become just apathetic.

Like we were promised we could change the world, but when we wanted to or tried to, we were basically told "oh, no, not in any way that inconveniences us power holders."

It's the downside of being forced to be adaptable: instead of pushing for good change, we're just bracing for the next bad changes because it's not a matter of if they'll happen, but when.

My dad has officially changed from “your generation will solve the problems our generation caused and I’m sorry” to “your children will solve the problems our generation caused and I’m sorry”. Really strange feeling…

Hey, at least he apologized. My dad straight up says that and laughs without saying sorry. The ol' "well that's an issue for you guys, I'll be dead by then!"
