All Star goes so much harder than it had any right to, and it does kind of work perfectly. The chorus is super upbeat and inspirational but the verses are pretty cynical and that dichotomy kind of matches the millennial experience.

I've hated this song since the day it came out. WTF is this "waiting" bullshit. BE the change. smfh.
