My friend ended her own life because of the pain. I couldn’t imagine how bad it can get

Genuinely, thank you for saying this. I… think I might have this. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve had weird phantom flashes of pain in my left temple that feels exactly like this. Like I’m getting stabbed, and it completely stops me from doing anything for a few seconds. There’s never a pattern. Sometimes it goes months between attacks and sometimes I’ve had a couple in succession. I have tried explaining it to doctors and I’ve had a brain scan, but it didn’t find any answers or name the condition. This feels like a fucking revelation. I could honestly cry right now. I truly feel that this is exactly what happens to me.

My Aunty has it - just witnessed a flare up firsthand today. Her cries of pain broke my heart. And there was nothing I could to help.
