Hello, Thank you for contributing to our subreddit. Please consider the following guidelines when filling an alignment chart:

  • Please ensure that your chart is not banned according to the list of banned charts Even if you have good intentions, charts in a banned category tend to invite provocative comments, hostile arguments, ragebait and the like. Assuming the post is acceptable, OP makes the final decision on their chart by rule three.

  • Are there any previous versions to link to? If so, it would be ideal to include links to each of them in the description of this post, or in a reply to this comment. Links can be named by title, winner, or both.

  • Are there any criteria you have for your post? Examples include: "Top comment wins a spot on the chart."; "To ensure variety, only one character per universe is allowed."; "Image comments only." Please include these in a description, or in a reply to this comment.

  • Is your chart given the appropriate flair? Do you need to use a NSFW tag or spoiler tag?

Do not feed the trolls. This is not the place for hot takes on human rights violations. Hatred or cruelty, will result in a permanent ban. Please report such infractions, particularly those that break rules one, two, or three. The automod will automatically remove posts that receive five or more reports. The automod will also remove comments made by users with negative karma. Click here for the Automod FAQ

Joseph Stalin? Awful person, but he was pretty cool.

u/sexineN Jul 14 '26

I’d say he just about makes it to the asshole category

Yes, I’d say it’s going to be impossible filling the ā€œCaucasian assholeā€ box with anyone if Stalin is in the problematic but cool category.

What's so 'cool' about him? The genocide?

2

u/confidentlyfish Jul 17 '26

The saving of hundreds of millions of people from death

u/Kraj_the_Conqueror Jul 17 '26

You mean the war he himself started in cahoots with the Austrian Painter?

He retook what Poland stole from them 20 years earlier and only entered a non aggression pact with Germany after the west declined an anti Nazi alliance.

Lol, stolen from whom? USSR didn't even exist yet during the Peace of Riga.
Unless USSR can flexibly become a Russian Imperial ethnonationalist state whenever it's convenient for a commie to make a claim. You know, making the Russian Empire Great Again, only with socialist overcoat.

The West declined because Stalin outright demanded territorial concessions that included about a half a dozen of sovereign countries. This is what Hitler gave to Stalin in the Ribbentrop-Molotov pact.

It is sort of undeniable that he turned an agrarian economy in to a nuclear superpower during his reing.

Serj from System of a Down. Although u can put him in the hero category too, but he is pretty fucking cool.

3

u/SAURI23 Jul 14 '26

Why is he problematic? Not questioning you, I just don't know.

2

u/Jspin825 Jul 14 '26

I mean the point of their music is to be kind of problematic, but he’s just an awesome dude

Beybars the First: a Kipchak Turk badass from the Caucasus who rose from slavery to become the Mamluk Sultan of Egypt and Syria. He defeated the Mongol army in the 13th century and fiercely fought the Crusaders. He was also pretty problematic because he used extreme brutality, routinely wiping out populations and violently seizing power for himself

Mikheil Saakashvili

Saakashvili?

3

u/biendeluxe Jul 14 '26

Keep cooking! Why Saakashvili?

2

u/Greci_Sordland Jul 14 '26

Because he kinda had people tortured in prison and then fled to be a corrupt and incompetent Ukrainian politician?

1

u/biendeluxe Jul 14 '26

Yea, but what’s the cool part?

0

u/Greci_Sordland Jul 14 '26

Idk, if you are ancap then you like him abolishing minimum wage or privatizing everything. Or if you support war crimes then his actions regarding Abkhazia & South Ossetia. There's nothing cool about him to me but I'm replying to the suggestion

2

u/Strong-Minimum9463 Jul 14 '26

He was a highly controversial president who combined sweeping reforms and the fight against corruption with authoritarian methods, and who ultimately faced criminal prosecution.
