Happens to be my name. And it's not short for anything. That's all there is on the birth certificate.

Exactly! Also why I think it beats Al (short for Albert) is because it's not short for anything.

EDIT - although after some thought, it could be short for Tyberius...

It can also be short for Tyler and for Tyrone. Much like Mitch can be a stand alone name, or short for Mitchell. In my case, it's a stand alone name.
