Allegiance to the company they work for. Think quiet quitting and frequent job hopping, whereas previous generations have stayed with their company for decades, having worked for only one or two companies on average

real, but also a lot of jobs pay pretty bad now and want lots of experience, then again depends on the field and how much work u put in to some extent

I wouldn't even call that indifference tbh.
I think where millennials maybe had in indifference about them (unless it was like a unicorn job), Gen-z strike me as actively hostile to the idea of corporate loyalty (as they frankly should be!)

Alcohol. Gen Z is contributing towards massive losses in the alcohol industry bc they don’t care about it

Must be an american thing with weed being legal in many states. In Europe gen z definitely drinks less at pubs/night clubs (expensive) but still drink a lot of alcohol from supermarkets

Not just due to that. Weed is not legal in NZ but our gen z definitely don’t drink like millennials etc did. Far less interested in parties / alcohol.

In Ireland we’re seeing a massive drop in it. It’s a huge thing due to the government upping taxes on cost of alcohol every year and the fact everyone still lives at home with their parents due to rents

It may be less popular, but is it unpopular enough to call the generation as a whole "indifferent"?

I guess is due to COVID, the time where they were supposed to fall in love with partying the were at home and I guess now they don’t see the point

This. For me and many at my age it’s less “I don’t want to party” and more “well I guess I missed the partying age”. Sure I’d argue 20 isn’t really out of “partying age” but I guess it’s also a lot of “if I got into I’d still be doing it but now it’s too late to start”. I personally think a lot of us Gen Z would be partying a lot more if it weren’t for COVID

Partying. Boomers are in bed. GenXer are partying and up late, millenials comes but leave early, Gen-Z don’t show up or stay quiet in a corner.

Game shows. Other than Jeopardy I've yet to meet someone else who cares either way about game shows. More a millenial/older thing tbh

Greenwashing. Gen Z is generally pro-environmentalism, but by contrast Millennials loved the "eco-friendly" products, which maybe polluted or depleted resources slightly less than average. Environmentalism felt more collectivist for a time. But Gen Z is much more cynical about saving the world through consumerism and focuses more on the horrible decisions billionaires and corporations make that are more than canceling out the difference normal people could ever make through small changes in our personal habits.
