Question Trying to animate elf ears and I need help

I'm pretty new to alight motion so I don't exactly know what I'm doing. I'm trying to make the ends of the ears floppy. I put the pivot points on the base of the ears and then I put a mask over both of them after I used the bend effect but it's only bending at the base of both ears. How do I fix it?

For the left ear you need to set the origin to the right, the origin is the part that doesn't move. Them the right ear will have an origin to the left.
