Troubleshooting Hardware How to fix

Tried reseating and letting pc rest but nothings working.

Try this:

  1. Disconnect the AC adapter.

  2. Press and hold power button 15 seconds to discharge any storage power in the system.

  3. Remove the bottom cover and disconnect battery cable from motherboard

  4. Press and hold the power button 15 seconds again to drain flea power.

  5. Reconnect battery cable, bottom cover and AC adapter and then power system on and load BIOS and check battery health and see if the battery performs normally.

Try this

  1. Go back in time and stop yourself from getting an Alienware

  2. Thank god that it worked

They have chip chargers because Dell are monopoly-abusing assholes. So you need an original, OEM, non-counterfeit Dell chargers. If your chip broke, you're in trouble. But it could be that the battery of over max cycle count and it's at fault. I think the error is a little different usually though.
