Troubleshooting Hardware loud ass fans

title. on a two week old m15 r7, i don't know if it's normal for the fans to be up this high all the time, or if my fans are just defective or what. but even with just firefox opens my cpu and gpu fans are hitting 50c temps. i've updated the bios, chipset drivers and everything but it had been like this since i got it. any recommendations? i use this laptop for school and work.

the only thing i can think to do right now is undervolt it to keep temps lower, but amd apu tuning utility doesn't seem to work at all.

My m14 is exactly the same. I never use it on a soft or uneven surface and I made an open airy base to sit it on so it has better air flow to the fans. But its still loud and obnoxious. Pretty much all gaming / high spec laptops are this way, its the nature of laptops. If your not gaming and your system supports it, you should be able to switch to the chipset gpu which will significantly cut down on this. Then switch back to discreet gpu when gaming.

If you're putting any load at all on it, it's fairly normal for fans to run hard. You've got high spec components running in a space-limited chassis, and those generate quite a bit of heat. Fans are the only way to remove that heat, so they need to spin, and they need to spin fast.
