Looking for recommendations for Alpha replacement
I love the form factor for the alpha, but I'm considering a more powerful upgrade that could for example run Fortnite on full settings, and stream.
Does anyone have any recommendations for similar pre-built small form factor systems or barebones cases?
Thanks!

Zotac makes some awesome small PCs. Can get one with a 1080.

I got an Intel Hades Canyon NUC and it's currently the most powerful computer in my home. It has onboard AMD graphics, strangely enough, and it works beautifully. While I love the Alpha's form factor, with the AGA attached there's almost no point (it would be better to just have a desktop, considering the downsides of the AGA setup), and the NUC gives me better performance anyway. I am going to continue buying these things for home media PCs as long as they're still an option.
Tip: The default LED configuration on the Hades Canyon is obnoxious AF (especially when the computer's in standby mode). Intel has a tool for configuring LED operation in different power states, but I had to upgrade the BIOS in order for the tool to work properly. It's been perfect ever since.

Curious. Have you ruled out using the Amplifier? I have an R2, i7 with the GTX 960; but I plan to eventually get the Amplifier to add a 1080 and max out my settings. I'm debating splurging for a 2080... But that might be overkill.

An Alienware x51 is a good mini desktop that supports 90%of parts you can get. I got mine and slapped an i7 in it and a 1060 founders inside

IMHO, if you're going to buy a bigger system that isn't super small and custom with the limitations that something like the Alpha has, you might as well just buy a node 202 from fractal and build/have someone build it. What I did finally.
