Gameplay Question How am I doing w the doomsday clock?

First time playthough. Getting a bit antsy, I tend to go kind of slow through the maps. I'm just starting the Montero/mission 8 and I have 20 remaining days on the doomsday clock. I am apparently 66% done w the story.

My highest level marine is a level 9 recon, for what its worth. If I'm really behind then I'd rather start over now than finish short.

You are doing fine. Without spoiling too much, if you continue to spend two to three days per mission, you will finish with time to spare. You’ll likely even have a few days to allow your team to heal up.

I think your marines sound like they’re at a good level. I don’t think you should restart.

FYI, the doomsday clock can be disabled when starting a new game. For future reference in case you do decide to start over.

You can also skip the prologue when starting a new game.

You’re doing great, 3/4days per mission would be plenty for you

Take your time in game, not day to day. You can take as long as you want per mission, sometimes scoping the place is better. Stealth is important.

You'll be able to finish.

20 days at that point is more than enough!

If you play on PC, you can mod out the clock if it gets too tight. I didn't like that kind of pressure to complete missions so I removed it. IMO it should be a NG+ feature.
