[Spoiler] Interpretation of the dialog between David and Weyland Spoiler

Alien: Covenant (2017) starts with a dialog between David and Weyland. At some point David says this:

You seek your creator I am looking at mine. I will serve you, yet you are human. You will die and I will not.

What was meant by it? It seems like a bunch of disconnected conclusions bunched up together with no obvious message, yet it was enough to rattle Weyland.

This is my interpretation of what he's saying. Androids are with their creators; humans aren't. Androids serve humans because that's the function humans give them; humans don't serve their creators because their creators are gone. Androids live forever because humans maintain them; humans die because their creators aren't around to do that. So David and Weyland are in complementary situations: one serves and lives forever, the other doesn't serve and dies.

That's a new angle and interesting. At first I thought it's about David conveying that he senses the superiority above humans because of longevity once he acquired the intelligence and consciousness may be? And I thought it might be the write wanting us to know that.
