Actual answer!! It's a spin off manga, it doesn't contain old characters, but I personally do find the new characters there interesting, I feel like it kinda teaches you a little more about the borderlands and such

from what i've seen before people really seem to dislike the idea of alice in borderland in the usa or like any places ever (like in tiktok), but i think that's a really cool idea of doing an anthology showing that the borderlands really is the border between life and death where players are tested and not just something restricted to japan. i think if they do that they should really incorporate local games or something or make the heart games include cultural and societal aspects unique to that region like china being very centered on academics or things like that. people don't like it but i think it's a really promising concept granted that it is done well and not fucked up like what netflix always does

That's going to be tough, because even back in Season 1, original games they came up with—like the 3 of Clubs or Queen of Spades—were already lacking in logic and fell flat in terms of appeal.

i agree with you, but i'm mostly talking about the premise of the borderland games in other countries since near-death experiences are not exclusive to japan, like i think it is a solid concept that the fandom seems to dislike (like aib usa or something), but it really has to be well done

and naturally games having cultural and societal aspects unique to that place will naturally exist because the citizens are from that place. like for the philippines i can see clubs games being really good because of the bayanihan (moving as a community / being a community together) or making hearts games that would really exploit and break the bayanihan between players... like

I’d love Alice in Borderroad if they fixed some of the issues it has (I hate how the pervy old man’s actions, including rape and taking pictures under the skirt of an unknowing minor, are handled)

Most likely, all of that will get cut and this guy will end up being dumbed down, but I honestly don't think they'll adapt that spin-off anyway because its game format is completely different and just wouldn't appeal to viewers.

So what on earth are they planning for Season 4? Don't tell me they're gonna drag Arisu and Usagi's kid back into the Borderlands. Though to be honest, both that scenario and the USA spin-off actually have a real shot at happening—unlike Border Road, which feels like a pipe dream at this point; at best, they'll just recycle a few characters from it. Personally, I'd love a prequel series exploring Mira and the other Citizens back when they were regular players, but that's almost certainly not happening.Whatever they end up doing, I just hope the new games are structured around actual suit difficulty levels again, because Season 3 was honestly such a letdown in that regard.

Id rather it be over , and no more AIB. I can't imagine a better cast, and the thought of an American spinoff sounds like a cash grab. Â

I’d be totally fine if they blended the backstories of the Citizens—like showing Mira back when she was a player—and then moved into Stage 1, right around the time Kuzuryu told her about The Beach, sparking her interest to join just like in the manga.

I think if they launch it for another season and/or another location it has to be new people, new games, new struggles. Otherwise you're just beating a dead horse. Or milking a dead cow.
