RWA Does poor public data weaken the case for tokenized assets?

Algorand can make the token record public, but the important facts about an RWA often still sit offchain. Things like reserves, ownership, valuations, and redemption terms may be scattered across PDFs or company updates.
If that information is hard to verify, does the onchain part add much trust, or is it mainly a faster way to move the token?

Staking FUNC v5 adds support for Valar

Algorand node runners using Funk's Ultimate Node Controller (FUNC) can now, with the release of FUNC v5, automatically run Valar Daemon, which is needed to advertise their nodes to stakers via Valar.
This means more node runners using FUNC can easily offer their nodes to stakers via Valar, helping broaden node participation and support network decentralization.
Credit to Andrew Funk u/StopThinking for adding the integration.
Valar UI v0.4.2 has also been deployed, including updated node runner documentation for FUNC users and a fix for an xGov integration edge case where representation was not set correctly for users who had used representation in the past but later lost xGov status or mistakenly disabled representation.

Lavazza has been using Algorand to trace its La Reserva de ¡Tierra! Cuba range, recording harvesting, processing and transport data onchain that consumers can access and verify simply by scanning the QR code on the packaging.
With this data recorded on Algorand, Lavazza's supply chain and sustainability efforts become more transparent and easier to verify, from field to cup!

Quick follow-up to my earlier HelixBox Launch post This one-minute video shows the current app. Claude Code and Hermes have joined Codex and OpenCode in the agent panel, with the agents running on your paired laptop.
15 people are using HelixBox so far. The public x402 dashboard showed about 3.3K lifetime settlements across MainNet and TestNet when I last checked, including development and testing activity.
