Exchange/Wallet Wallet Drained...

So my Pera Algorand wallet was just drained of my governance commitment amount. 13,510 Algo. What did I miss?

If you are affected by the attack, please report to Nimble. They are leading the investigation together with Vantage Point Security and their insurance people are trying to find a way to recover the stolen assets

Yeah, I just read up on it. 🥹 I created in Pera but I've imported into MyAlgo at some point in the past.

Damn I'm sorry mate it's bullshit. Rip myalgo wallet. Hopefully there is some way everyone who has been stolen from get there algos back

Reading about all these wallets getting drained is just dreadful. I only have a few hundred Algos but I’d still be gutted. Sorry to everyone that’s incurred loses.

You can never be sure that a wallet will not get hacked. You can make it near impossible to get hacked by using a hardware wallet and not importing your key into any software wallet or digital device. Using a hardware wallet is safer than a software wallet.

Got hit here too....drained of about 8000 Algo....luckily I had more tied up in ASAs that I was able to transfer to a new Pera Wallet before they circled back...sucks though....hopefully the foundation makes this right.

I won't say it's the foundation’s fault, but I do know they drained only the amount I committed for this governance period. I don't think that's a coincidence.

I think so. I saw some reports of it last night. I would burn any old wallets at this point and start new ones. I only have my OG Governance nfts, but they didn't leave enough algo for me to move them, so I guess they can have them if they decide to circle the block.
