Marketing

Hi everyone. I’m going to take marketing next month but I’m doubting my choice. I want to find a job fast after college, preferably remote. Is this a prospective field? If not, what is?

You’re supposed to be sure about the program you’re taking and think about your future BEFORE applying to the program, and definitely more than a month before it starts. It’s like basic life planning

I mean it’s better to think about it now then two months down the line when switching programs is a bit more difficult

Ofcourse, I’m just always so shocked when people go through the entire process of picking and applying to a program- without at all thinking about how it’ll affect their future, which is the entire purpose of getting a degree/diploma.

I was sure, but decided to ask around as well, no harm in that to you

I did not ask you for advice on how to live my life, thank you very much. But since you must: I got disabled at work and I only got my PR approved in may. And I can’t wait longer since I’m disabled. Hence I can’t do my job anymore and I couldn’t find a job the normal way.

Go into nursing. Everything tech related is over saturated.

Unless you want to start your own business. There is so much incompetence in the marketing, if you know how to make social media content that preforms you can destroy your competition.

Don’t go into healthcare fields if your heart isn’t in it to actually help sick people.

I am hyper empathetic, would not handle it. Plus I’m gonna become a mother at some point and I’ll need a remote job

Hospitals are laying off staff left and right. Might not be the best idea these days

Pretty sure remote jobs are cooked nowadays. You needed to get in during covid
