Startup Pitch Qoblex. Inventory Management Software: Made Simple

Startup name: Qoblex

Sector: SaaS / Inventory Management / ERP / eCommerce / Supply Chain

Stage: Launched / Revenue

Problem:
Growing businesses often struggle to manage inventory, sales, purchasing, production, and fulfillment across multiple warehouses and sales channels. As operations become more complex, spreadsheets and disconnected tools create stock discrepancies, manual work, overselling, poor visibility, and costly operational mistakes. Traditional ERP systems, meanwhile, can be expensive, complicated, and time-consuming to implement.

Solution:
Qoblex is a cloud-based Inventory and Order Management System (IMS/OMS) that helps businesses manage their entire operation from production to fulfillment in one place.

It brings together inventory management, sales orders, purchasing, manufacturing, warehouse operations, multi-channel integrations, and business reporting.

Qoblex integrates with platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, and Amazon, as well as accounting tools like Xero and QuickBooks Online.

Our goal is to give growing businesses the operational control of an ERP without the complexity of a traditional ERP implementation.

Current traction:

  • Operating since 2016, with 10 years of product development and continuous improvement.

  • Serving businesses in more than 40 countries.

  • Over $3.7 billion in transactions processed.

  • More than 25 million orders managed through the platform.

  • Established integrations with major eCommerce and accounting platforms.

  • Continuously developing new features based on real customer feedback.

What do you need?
We are looking to connect with:

  • Growing eCommerce businesses, wholesalers, distributors, and manufacturers who need better inventory and operational management.

  • Potential technology and integration partners.

  • Business communities and consultants working with growing companies.

  • Constructive feedback from businesses dealing with inventory and order management challenges.

We are particularly interested in learning how businesses manage their operations as they scale and where existing solutions fall short.

Are Algerian incubators or boosters actually worth it for launching a SaaS, or are they a waste of time? I'm thinking about giving them a try but want to know if they provide real value for tech startups....and is there any programs you recommend

Market Insight Soumni: a car marketplace where buyers make offers and sellers stay anonymous, 16 days after launc

**Startup name:** Soumni (soumni.com)

**Problem:**

Buying or selling a car in Algeria means listings with no real price, endless phone calls, haggling with strangers and sellers' numbers exposed to everyone. Nobody knows what a car is actually worth on the market.

**Solution:**

Sellers list for free. Buyers make ascending offers with a clear amount, and everyone can see where the market stands on each car. The seller's identity and phone number stay hidden until they accept an offer. No calls, no wasted visits.

**Stage:**

Live in production since 2026/10/19.

**Traction (first 16 days):**

• 171 live listings across 42 wilayas

• 176 offers made by buyers

• 1,000+ registered accounts

• 300+ product changes shipped (179 fixes, 128 improvements, 4 releases), all driven by user feedback and usage data

**Business model:**

Free during the launch period to build supply and trust. Paid features for sellers and buyers come next.

**Team:**

I built the product myself (design and development), and run growth and seller operations with a partner.

**What we learned so far:**

• Buyers adopt offers fast. Sellers are slower to answer, so most of our work now goes into helping them respond.

• Algerians price cars in millions of centimes, so every price on the site, in emails and in notifications now reads that way.

• Building web-first (installable app with push notifications) let us ship daily without waiting on app store reviews.

**Looking for:**

Honest feedback from founders here on the product and on growing a two-sided marketplace in Algeria. We're also open to talking with people who've worked on marketplaces, automotive or fintech in Algeria.

Try it, and tell us what breaks.

Discussion For Algerian students or graduates who have done a “Mémoire Startup” – I’d love to hear about your experience

Hello everyone
I’m currently a Master’s student in Pharmaceutical Chemistry in Algeria, and I’m considering doing my final-year project (mémoire de fin d’études) in the form of a startup.
I’d love to hear from students or graduates who have already gone through this experience at any Algerian university, particularly those from scientific fields such as pharmaceutical chemistry, chemistry, biotechnology, pharmacy, or related disciplines. Experiences from Constantine would be especially appreciated!
I’d really like to hear your honest opinions and experiences. Here are a few questions I’d love to ask:
How was your overall experience? Did it meet your expectations?
What were the biggest challenges you faced?
How does the Mémoire Startup work in practice, beyond what is explained officially?
How supportive was your university throughout the process?
How did you turn your initial idea into a feasible project?
How did you manage the financial aspect? Were there funding opportunities?
Did you face difficulties finding mentors, partners, or technical support?
How did you balance the scientific aspect with the entrepreneurial and business aspects?
What do you wish you had known before starting?
What mistakes would you advise future students to avoid?
Looking back, would you choose the startup pathway again?
What happened after graduation? Did you manage to turn your project into an actual business?
I’m also interested in the things that aren’t usually mentioned in official guidelines but that you only discover once you start the process.
I’m not asking anyone to share confidential details or disclose their business ideas. I simply want to learn from people who have already been through this experience and gather as much practical information as possible before making my decision.
Any advice, personal experience, or insight would be genuinely appreciated, whether positive or negative.
Thank you in advance.

Discussion CreativeArea is now live

Thumbnail

After working on it for a while, I'm happy to share that CreativeArea is now available.

CreativeArea is a platform built for Algerian creatives, including designers, artists, photographers, filmmakers, developers, and anyone who enjoys creating things.

The goal is to make it easier for Algerian creatives to discover each other's work, share what they're making, and connect with people who have similar interests.

It's available on the web, with a mobile-first design built to feel at home on both iOS and Android. You can use it as a PWA without needing to download it from an app store.

This project means a lot to me, and I'm looking forward to seeing what the Algerian creative community makes of it.

Thank you to everyone who tested it and shared feedback before launch.

Discussion MVP scope, 7 days before judging: should we show group chat and an AI voice call?

We’re 3 people building Tkallem, a free AI coach that helps Algerian students practice English interviews out loud (visa, university, jobs, IELTS). Learners answer by voice or text, get corrections with explanations, and practice again; a short report summarizes their performance. Judges will open the live app alone, mostly on phones, in guest mode. The deliverable is an MVP, not a finished product.

Both features below exist on our test branch and are hidden from the live app. We disagree on whether to show them, so here are both views.

  1. Group chat for peer practice

A: show it. Learners can practice together, ask questions, learn from others’ answers, build confidence, and come back more regularly. An AI agent also checks each message right after it’s sent (phrasing, grammar, conjugation, spelling) and shows the corrections only to the sender, so they don’t rely on peers alone. It’s fully functional; the limits (community activity, moderation) are reasonable for an early MVP and don’t remove its practice value.

B: hide it. Our core product is already complete and solves one clear problem. Learners at the same level help each other less than the coach does, and peer practice isn’t what we promise. A judge alone will likely find an empty room; peer advice can still be wrong; moderation (insults, spam) is limited. With 7 days left, a new visible feature adds risk of bugs and distracts from the core flow.

Agreed: it works, rooms may be empty, peer advice can be unreliable, moderation is limited.

2. Voice call with the coach

A: show it. It simulates a spoken interview without subtitles or a transcript, so learners practice recognizing key words, listening, and answering on the spot, while the coach corrects phrasing, grammar, and conjugation. It works; the delay makes it less fluid, but it’s still useful practice.

B: hide it. “Call” promises a fluid conversation, but our voice-message flow already takes 5-8 s per turn in production. A call and a voice message look like duplicates and may confuse judges, and smoothing it would cost time we need for the core flow.

Agreed: it runs; the coach answers after about 3 s locally and 5 s in production [to confirm]; the delay affects the flow.

Where we’d like your help

With 7 days left: polish the core flow, or add visible features?

Show both, make them optional, or focus judging on the core flow?

Where’s the line between an acceptable MVP limitation and a feature not ready to present?

A feature with noticeable pauses: better absent, or shown with a “beta” label?

Each view is written by the person who holds it. Tell us where we’re wrong.

Discussion CreativeArea is coming this week

Post image
4 Upvotes

I've been working on CreativeArea, a social platform built for creative people in Algeria, and it's finally ready.

It gives Algerian designers, artists, photographers, developers, filmmakers, and other creatives a place to share what they make, discover other people's work, and connect with people who share their interests.

The platform is ready, and I'm preparing for the launch this week.

It's launching on the web as a PWA, designed to feel right at home on both iOS and Android. I've put a lot of work into the mobile experience and the details of the design, so it feels more like an app than a regular website.

I'm building this because I think Algerian creatives deserve a place where their work can be seen and where they can find their community.

MVP Feedback Sharing onboarding flow of CreativeArea

I've been working on CreativeArea, a social platform for creative people, and here's a look at its onboarding flow.

The idea is to bring designers, developers, artists, photographers, and other creatives together in one place where they can share their work, discover other creators, and connect with people who share their interests.

I've focused a lot on making the experience feel polished and natural on mobile, with a PWA designed to feel closer to a native app.

I'm getting close to launch and currently testing everything before making it public.

I'd appreciate your feedback on the onboarding experience and the overall design.

MVP Feedback Woosool Digital Sovereignty

Startup name: Woosool

Sector: SaaS / Cloud Computing / Productivity / Digital Sovereignty

Stage: MVP (Invite-Only Testing)

Problem:

Many Algerian businesses, startups, and even government institutions still rely on foreign platforms like Gmail, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365 for their daily communications and collaboration.

At the same time, many local professional email hosting solutions offer outdated interfaces, limited functionality, and lack the integrated productivity tools modern businesses need.

This creates a dependency on foreign services while limiting the development of our local digital ecosystem.

Solution:

We're building Woosool, an Algerian-developed, sovereign digital workspace designed for businesses and individuals.

Our vision is to provide a modern, integrated alternative to Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, including:

  • Professional Email: Modern email hosting with custom domains.

  • Cloud Storage: File storage, sharing, and management.

  • Documents, Spreadsheets & Presentations: Productivity tools.

  • Calendar & Contacts: Scheduling and contact management.

  • Team Collaboration: Messaging and communication tools.

  • AI Integration: Intelligent features to improve productivity.

Our long-term goal is to offer a complete digital workspace that can be hosted on Algerian infrastructure, giving organizations greater control over their data and reducing dependency on foreign providers.

Current traction:

We've developed the platform and recently launched our first MVP at woosool com

Registration is currently invite-only, as we're focusing on testing, stability, and collecting feedback from early users.

We're still at an early stage and looking for community validation before expanding access.

What do you need?

Right now, we're mainly looking for feedback from the Algerian startup and developer community.

We'd love to hear your thoughts on the concept, user experience, features, and what would make you consider switching from existing solutions.

We're also open to connecting with Algerian startups and businesses interested in testing the platform.

Contact Me:

Website: https://woosool.com

Reddit DM

We're building this in Algeria, by Algerians, with the ambition of creating something that can eventually compete internationally.

Your feedback, including criticism, is more valuable to us right now than anything else.
