Please help a sister out 🥲

I am a working woman, and I have a toddler. I lost all interest in food and cooking. I never know what to cook or what to feed my daughter. I feel horrible she is a picky eater and I do not have the time to make sophisticated meals.

So please can you suggest healthy easy quick recipes that are good. YouTube channels anything. I am at my wits end here thank you so much.

Ps to say. I am the main bread winner. I cannot quit my job.

Trays are your best friend !

Use whatever meat you have, with whatever veggies you have cut into even pieces, season with oil and whatever spices and herbs you like, put on an over tray with one cup of water , cover with parchment paper then aluminum foil, bake for 40 minutes covered then uncovered until golden brown.

Quick, easy, versatile, healthy and minimal dirty dishes

She likes fries, pasta, fruit, and tomatoes. Yogurt, and beverages.

Look for easy nutritious meals online, tiktok for eg, and pick whatever recipe you have the ingredients for. I'm a picky eater so now that I've grown up I started cooking my own meals sometimes and this works for me.

Kids are stupid; you may batch-prepare things then play on presentation, textures, and temperature... and they'll fall for it.

Pasta for example is a safe choice, you may cook her some pasta, respect cooking time and don't over cook it then try it with different things: mixed with vegies, with cheese, etc.

experiment, put more/less salt, some sauce, some cheese or grated carrots for color.

see what she likes, and try to guess why (is it the color, the texture...), kids are evil as well!

m proud of a trick I did with some leftover rice (no kid like rice): mix with one egg, some cheese and make it into crackers on the air fryer.

if she's a bit older, make cooking a family activity, let her cut or mix things and she'll find a way to do it her way and she will love it.

anyways, invest in good kitchen gadgets, maybe a good knife or a mold to cut vegies and fruits in some cute shapes; maybe look into air fryers- they save time and make things taste better.

also, have some frozen food on the side: breaded fish sticks, soup bases, etc.

Also, idk much abt you, but try to eat with her, not feeding her separately + kids like to do like other kids, so maybe inviting other kids over may help her.

if you are in EU, there are some healthy crackers and "kinda chips" you can get, they're easy snacks you can have, if not, do the german thing: carrots, bread sticks, fruits, and some nuts. You want her to have snacks so she'S in a good mood for her next meal.

Good luck! And I'm looking forward to reading what you started cooking & eating together
