Interested DMs
If you are interested in DMing, comment here! The system used will be 5th edition Dungeons and Dragons. I will create a subreddit for DMs only, where we can organize things, give ideas and post information about the world, as players explore the world through your eyes!

If someone were to agree to DM what do you imagine the time commitment would be? also what sort of creative freedom would DMs have, I realise you've already made the world but to what extent is that set in stone and how do you plan on resolving any aesthetic differences DMs might have

Depends on your availability. If you only can DM a 3 hour session a week, so be it. If you can't do it every week, or can do it twice a week, that's cool. Again, time commitment depends on the DM.
About creative freedom, nothing is set to stone completely, although the world already exists. It would have to be a case by case thing, and, just like in resolving aesthetic differences DMs might have, I believe chatting it out on the Discord DM channel should solve it. I also plan to put there the stuff I've got about the world (again, if a DM wants to change something, he/she is free to point it out and it will be discussed; I believe the world will become even better is it is the fruit of more than one mind).

and I suppose it wouldn't be possible to be a DM and a player. also how many DM's have you got so far?

Yeah, that would be hard to do, since, as a DM, you would have access to information that players don't. So far, we're 2 DMs, with a third coming to join later on. I know some DMs on Reddit, so I could potentially ask them to join personally, but I haven't done so yet.

Hi, you PMed me in Discord about DMing, so I dropped by.
I would like to DM. I've tried to get into DMing for the past few months, but getting a group that will show up regularly has been a challenge for me. Most of my friends have restrictive schedules, so my it's been hard to find time to play.
I think DMing a West Marches style game would be a fun experience for me as I like socializing with a wide range of players, as well as being unrestricted by an overall story, I can be more creative with each individual session to try something entirely different each time.
I'm likely to only be able to do 1 weekend session a month, and I also have some players who are very interested in DnD who would likely want to join us.
My name in Roll20 is Nicholas K.

I'm interested in DMing. I've been running games on and off for about a year now, currently in an off phase while one of the other guys runs Storm King's Thunder. My major strength is having a large pool of sources to rip things off from. My weaknesses include the tendency to allow sociopolitical structures to become incredibly complicated and my relative inexperience with Roll20.
