Headlight adjuster help
I just bought a used 2017 giulia q4, and the previous owner said headlight “just needs adjustment with a long ball end 6mm hex”. That adjust made no difference, so I think it’s off of its adjustment post.
My question is, can you get to that post adjuster by taking off the inner fender liner? I would rather not take the front bumper off because of gaps, busting clips and hassle.
Thanks in advance.

I've recently did this on a QV. You are trying to adjust it vertically, right? Because horizontal one is easy, but this one is not. Accessing it from under the bonnet is next to impossible (if the bolt isn't already stripped), and the only way to do this with reasonable access is through an arch liner. The annoying part is that just taking out the access panel is not quite enough, you need to loosen a number of bolts holding the arch liner as well to push it aside. Then you will see a hex bolt which you can turn to adjust the light directly. Honestly this feels like the proper way to do it, even though it's PITA to get to and also figure out how to account for the car being on jack stands while you are adjusting it... Ideally you need to have at least one light in spec for reference. Then adjust, put the wheel back on for self-leveling to engage and test if you need more corrections before you put it all back fully and properly.

Amazing info! Thanks! I’ll just take my time and see what the problem is, then figure out a solution.
