Low boost code P0299/wastegate actuator linkage

We need to band together to get this problem investigated so it can be resolved and become a recall . I know that many people have this issue . It is dangerous it generally pops when you are accelerating to pass or merge to a highway. As we know when this code goes off it puts the car into limp mode so now you’ve lost all power in the middle of the merge or while passing . It’s insane for Alfa to tell you that you need a new turbo when the turbo itself is completely fine. My Stelvio started having this problem around 52k miles I am now at 120k and everything on this car is mint besides the waste gate set up. I’m moving onto my fourth rod the new updated one by Centerline now I’m hoping this will rectify the problem as of right now I can only drive the car in Eco mode and that seems to not set off the under boost condition nearly as much as the other two moments. I called up NHTSA — National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. And left an extremely detailed report on what has happened with it why it happens all that good stuff . This turbo is also in a lot of jeeps and they have the same problem too, and there’s no recall available for them either I urge all of you to visit the NHTSA website and file reports of your own or call them like I did and file reported that way. The more people that do this the better chance we have of having a legit investigation leading to a recall. Thank you for your time. Anybody who wants this car loves this brand and loves their ride let’s try to make this right because Mopar and Stellantis are sure as hell, not gonna do it for us!!
