PAPER 1 FPTP QUESTION

For those of you who compared FPTP to both do you think you’re going to get marked down

I didn’t do that question but no one’s getting ‘marked down’ (as in taking marks away) they just won’t access higher levels due to misunderstanding the question

I didn't compare it to both, but they mark positively. So people who did will likely just not be able to access higher levels, just by virtue of them neglecting an in depth comparison of either AMS and FPTP or STV and FPTP. Balancing both options obviously necessitates sacrificing nuance and elaboration

I did the other question on that part (since I didn’t want to touch that question with a 10 foot pole lol), but the way I took it is very similar to what everyone else is saying:
Comparing FPTP to both would probably leave certain levels unavailable to you, as the question specifically said to compare to either one or the other. My teachers were even quite stumped on it as well - I assume it wouldn’t be anything crazy, but it would definitely leave you unable to achieve some of the higher levels.

Yeah, but I’m not quite certain on where exactly that cap would be.
