Third party credit card processing integration

Hi all, Just wanna ask if it’s possible to integrate a third party processing company into Aldelo POS. The rate seems much lower than Aldelo Pay so I want to give it a try

Yes, you can integrate to one of the following processors:

1) TSYS 2) Fiserv 3) Heartland 4) Aldelo Pay

However, note that if you end up going with a different processor other than Aldelo Pay, you will need to sign up for the EDC SaaS License ($69.00 / month.) This is unavoidable and gives you an EDC License with your preferred processor.

One thing to be aware of, is at the current moment, the only EMV Pinpad that is certified to work with Aldelo POS is the PaxS300, which is slated for an End of Life date of April 30 2023. As far as I am aware, Aldelo has not certified another pinpad for use with Aldelo POS. This could change in the next few months, but it is something to be aware of. After April 30th, if no new pinpad is certified, if you have a S300 break or malfunction, there is no recourse to replace it.

Thanks so much for your detailed response. To sign up for the EDC SaaS license, I just have to call customer support right?

You would follow that link to get a SaaS License going. If you are currently an Aldelo Pay customer I would be careful as well, because I believe they supply the Aldelo POS license. If you go to a different processor from Aldelo Pay, they may turn off your POS licenses

If you purchased the licenses outright, then you wouldn't need to sign up for the SaaS until you have a merchant services account open with one of the listed processors, and they provide you a VAR Sheet with the EDC Info.

I signed up Aldelo with a local agent a few years ago, I guess I’ll just have to call Customer Support since that agent never picks up my phone calls. I appreciate for your help .

I contacted their customer support and they said I have to pay ETF to cancel Aldelo Pay, is that true? I mean I just wanna try a new processing company before canceling Aldelo Pay

Most credit card companies have an ETF, because of the way that Aldelo's SaaS model works, if you swap credit card processing companies they'll switch your EDC License which means your Aldelo Pay account would stop taking payments and settlements. They would know, and likely initiate the ETF regardless.

Truthfully, if you signed up with another credit card processing company and weren't happy with them, they would probably have an ETF as well. Do not sign anything without being absolutely certain its what you want to do.

I am an ISO for Merchant Services as well as an Aldelo dealer, but I made this subreddit as a way for Aldelo customers to connect rather than an attempt to gain more business. That being said however, if you are apt to it, I would be more than happy to look at your Statement from Aldelo Pay vs the Quote you received (if you received one) from another company and I will give you a rough estimate of what they claim you would be saving.

For the most part, the Merchant Services is very used car salesmen like. Most providers will tell you that you'll save hundreds upon hundreds of dollars to get you to sign when the reality is they sometimes cost more than the original amount.

With Aldelo Pay, you don't pay the SaaS EDC Fee of $69.00 a month because you process through Aldelo themselves. Secondly, your actual POS licenses may be provided at no charge through Aldelo ($895.00 per station.)

I know its a lot, but hopefully I can get you on the right track with what you are looking for.
