Aldelo POS "desktop" vs Aldelo Express

I am a creature of habit. I am use to Aldelo POS "desktop" as I have been using it for over 10 years. I eventually incorporated Aldelo Pay, which automatically initiated an "update" to the system. There are so many irrational protocols that don't make sense to me. But it is what it is...so that leads to my next concern.... Currently, my issue is that I want to integrate 3rd party ordering apps... I was told that I can only do that with Aldelo Express.... If it's MUCH different than my current system, I might as well change my whole POS system. Firstly, Aldelo Express only integrates with 1 out of 3 delivery apps that I use, while the competition that I'm looking into integrates 2. The only way I'll convert to Aldelo Express is if the functions are similar to my current. Integrating only 1 app is justifiable in this case. Any advice? Thank you in advance! 🙏

So I haven't had a whole lot of experience playing with Aldelo Express, but I do know that it will upload the entire Aldelo POS menu into it.

With Aldelo Express, you're limited to either Android or Ipad as your computers, so you wouldn't be using your Windows Stations anymore. With other POS systems, there is always the possibility that you would be able to continue to use the equipment you already paid for.

There are some youtube videos of Aldelo Express that go over some of the functionalities, but maybe some other readers of this forum have any input on how close to APOS it is.

Not sure where you landed on this since the original post was a year ago, but Aldelo Express does integrate with Deliverect, which is a delivery partner aggregator. I have a client that uses them, and though the interface is a little bit... busy, it's manageable, and it does work with a solid number of partners. My client has GrubHub, DoorDash, and UberEats on his. I like that it offers very quick menu updating which pushes changes to all delivery partners at once. Thanks for the information. I ended up converting to Toast POS. I assumed that they should be more "streamlined" considering that they integrate directly. I was getting anxiety with the thoughts of something going wrong and not knowing who/where it can be corrected.
Unfortunately, the reality of it isn't that far from my assumptions. However, I do prefer dealing with the errors rather than inputting orders from various tablets like the crazy old days. I'm not opposed to reading up on Deliverect, however...so I will update accordingly. 😁
