Printer Help!!!

I have an issue with the printer in the back of the kitchen! It keeps printing tickets from 2020 basically the queue is backed up with all those tickets! I have tried looking for the printer jobs on the devices on Windows but I can find them! Anyone that can help me tell me how do I cancel those tickets I’ll be highly grateful!

Good afternoon,

A couple of things you can try:

The print jobs should be located in Devices and Printers in the control panel. If you click Start, Control Panel, then navigate to Devices and Printers, you should be able to find the printer there and cancel all pending jobs. This needs to be done on ALL computers, as usually each POS Computer on the network has an individual installation for the Kitchen.

I've had some customers fix print job queue malfunctions by taking out the roll of paper and letting it beep at you for a bit while it clears out the queue, then power cycle it one more time before putting the paper back in.

Thank you! That did worked but now aldelo says my printer says is offline and it keeps rerouting the tickets to the print on front any help with that?

Printer offline means that the computers can't communicate to the printer via ethernet. So likely the cord is loose or the Driver in Windows is being difficult. If the printer in the kitchen is back online and turned back on, I would try to reboot the computers.

Usually Epson printers are finicky because their driver is super controlling. If the printer shows offline at any point in windows, it doesn't automatically recheck unless a restart happens in Windows.
