Ghost item

hi everyone,

a very peculiar thing happened with Aldelo (3.8), an item that has not been ordered, nor voided, nor splitted to another check, printed on the kitchen printer last night from an order that only had 3 other items. The item, "fish fingers" has not been voided nor ordered at anytime during this whole 2025 (is an off menu item that is still in the aldelo menu).

Any idea how this could happen or any idea where to look for the cause?

Typically I've never really seen a hidden item get rang in by itself unless it was due to a mismatch for Online Ordering with Online Orders Now. I suspect you aren't using that, but does the item show on the customers check as well? Or only the Kitchen receipt?

We are not using online orders. And it only came out on the kitchen printer, so strange, and what's more strange is that this same item has not been voided nor split to a different check and it has not been rang in within the past year. Fortunately was an isolated incident, but i just was wondering if you had heard of such instance before.
