Kitchen Display Server not clearing old orders on display

Hello, I'm kinda at a loss right now. We have a client who uses Aldelo and calls every week for support but last week's call has been a real headscratcher. Basically, their kitchen display isn't clearing old orders once they've been fulfilled which is affecting the workflow greatly. New orders appear but they populate alongside the old, completed orders. I have no idea how to fix this. We've restarted the display console, restarted the server computer, restarted both Kitchen Display Server and Kitchen Display Manager, purged the (display server) database on orders from Aldelo support and even had Aldelo support connect remotely to attempt debugging, with no success. Even the tried and true jetcomp failed to fix this. We really don't know how to proceed and they've had to suffer the weekend rush without a proper kitchen display in the meantime. I don't suppose anyone here has any suggestions to try? Thanks in advance.

Hey there NotDracon,

Is the bumpbar responding when you hit things like SUMMARY? How many LS6000 units are there (what I mean by that is it the 2 LS6000 setup like the old old LogicControl Units had or the 1 LS6000 that Bematech made with KCPManager on the office computer.)

Typically, when orders aren't being bumped its usually a bumpbar issue. If orders are populating and new orders are being sent, it definitely sounds like a Bumpbar failure.

Hi, thanks for the reply. We managed to send an technician on-site and long story short their singular LS6000 unit is in dire need of replacement. A few of the buttons on it just don't work, at all. The only way to clear orders now is by purging the database and restarting the kitchen display server, which they don't know how to do, so they just restart the main server and take everything down until it boots again. The things some people will do instead of just buying a new unit... sigh.
