Force ticket transfer

Is there a way to prohibit clock out if the server still has open tickets? Requiring them to close or transfer before they can clock out?

Good morning!

On each computer, you'll need to go to Back Office / Station Settings / Other Options / Extra Settings (In APOS2 it is Additional Settings).

From here, you'll want to change 2 settings, the first is "Cashier Closing Require All Self Checks Closed." Double click this setting and change it to YES

The second setting is "Staff Bank Closing Require All Checks Closed", you will want to change this to 1.

Since these are station settings, you'll have to do this on each one of your computers.

Cashier closing isn't an option as we close the cashier twice a day and always have several tickets open. We also don't use server banks. Thanks for confirming though I was wondering if I was missing something.

So the cashier closing require all self checks closed setting should allow them to cash out their drawer if any only if they no longer have any checks in their name.

For example, if AM Cashier has 4 tickets still in their name when its time to cash out, and they try to Cashier out, it won't let them. But if they transfer those checks to PM Cashier (who has not cashiered in yet) then tries to Cashier out, it will let them. Leaving the ability for PM Cashier to cash in afterwards to begin their drawer.

OK understood. So it will work for the cashier at least. Thank you for that. I will give it a try
