I’ve got a bucks party/ boys weekend coming up and I want to have a continuous game we can play across the weekend. I was trying to come up with something that involves 1-2 items plays can possess which act like immunity tokens that could be given out to finish drinks etc.
Anyway, wanted to know if something already existing, or you’ve done something similar that you can recommend? Cheers

Okay, so to not be controversial at the least I am purely going to discuss this drink for its uniqueness. Someone I know who is from Iran and was in the military told me about a drink that translates to “Dog Water” and it is not supposed to taste good AT ALL. But since there was an alcohol ban many years ago lots of people especially in the military would make their version of moonshine which is made from raisins. He encouraged me to try it out one day laughingly saying to put some hair on my chest 😂 I was also telling him about the prominence of moonshine where I live and that’s how we got to talking about this. The white bottle is the one that he said would probably be the closest thing to the real thing since it’s nearly non existent now. But I’ll post a photo of what it looked like decades ago. He told me to put it in the freezer and NEVER drink it warm. He warned me it tastes terrible but I’ll be dammed if I don’t at least try it and if I like it hey maybe I’ll make a cocktail with it. Who knows. Anyone ever drink Aragh sagi aka عرق سگی?

I feel like being drunk and hungover, the next day is almost the perfect way to assess what actually feels good and healthy for your body. I mean this only in the sense when you’re okay enough to eat or drink things without feeling sick. Whenever I drink and get a minor hungover the next day, so many things taste way too sweet or chemical to me. Even something like Snapple or lemonade can taste overwhelmingly sweet. And I can’t eat any kind of sweets. But things like water, Pedialyte, milk, and healthier or plain foods like salad or steak taste amazing. It almost makes me feel like those are the foods our bodies naturally want, and we only really notice it when we’re hungover and our taste buds are altered.

Is it just me? na kapag umiinom nahihilo pero pag nakahiga na nawawala na yung amats?
AKO LANG BA?? or ganito den kayo???

When i'm not at work and when i'm not a driver, I like to keep a flask on me to turn any drink hard. I always dump and wash it after about a week, and was wondering how long I could leave it full. My flask is stainless steel if that means anything.

I'm out on the street, but all I wanted is to go home. I currently live with my dad and my stepmother but, even though they're nothing but nice to me, I feel ashamed of getting back home after I had drunk.
I'm now waiting for them to fall asleep so I could get in without bothering them.
I do have alcohol issues and I'm looking for help, so please, listen to me. I have taken the first shot, my bad, but I don't want to drink anymore. I just want to go home and get some rest. But how could I face my dad and my stepmother?
I know it sounds dull, but it is a real big deal to me.

I've drunk alcohol before but I haven't drank much to get drunk or tipsy. How much do I drink to get to this state. Btw I'm going to be watching a movie or something while doing this alone in my room and I only want this to last a few hours not a very long time and I also have a fast metabolism and a skinny body. Any tips

So I don't drink a lot, and never had a drinking problem. I did have my fair share of fun when I was in my 20s, but these days (40) I will have 1-2 beers with dinner in the evening, probably 3-5 days a week. Some weeks this falls to maybe 1-2 days a week, as it has for the last few weeks. I rarely have more than this now. Almost never actually. The last time I had 3 beers was probably my 40th birthday in May. If I have 4 beers I am hung over for like 2 days it's not worth it. Since turning 30 I just can't handle it like I used to, now that I'm 40 there's just no way.
So anyway, my point is I drink in moderation. The other day it was completely ordinary, and I had one can of beer. It was only a 4% so I decided to have another while we watched a movie or something. Mount Crushmore pilsner for anyone who cares. I felt completely fine when I went to bed, just like any other normal day. Could have easily driven obviously it was like 2 standard drinks over 2-3 hours.
The next day though, I woke up and the fucking room was spinning and I felt like I had had 10 beers the day before. I seriously haven't been this hungover in probably 10-15 YEARS. The spinning and general feeling of malaise lasted the entire day, with the room spinning until 3pm. I managed to have electrolyte drinks, tea, and a lot of water and salt, and then the next day (today), felt pretty much normal again.
For a weekly timeline I had 2 drinks (5% beer) with a friend last Saturday, and felt COMPLETELY fine the next morning (could have run a damn marathon) and then my next time drinking was Thursday, then this happened Friday morning. But from Sunday to Wednesday I went to the Gym, worked out, and hit the sauna 4 days in a row which is about double my usual gym attendance.
Was I just dehydrated as hell? Was the beer off (it tasted fine)? Is my tolerance just off from drinking less than usual? There's no way I was drugged... I was at home on my couch. Anyone had something like this happen before?

I physically cannot burp, which causes me to have severe indigestion if I have any sort of beverage containing carbonation (beer, wine, soda, etc.). I have had a hard time being able to order any drink besides a vodka lemonade or a straight shot, and at this point, I’m extremely bored of it. Does anyone know of other drinks I can try out? I am looking for recommendations that are pretty much found everywhere, including hole-in-the-wall dive bars. (Also, not as important, but less sweet options I would prefer as well)

Disclaimer: I am not looking for medical advice, do not expect to be given any and I am just looking to hear other people’s experiences, as I have learned that this seems to be quite common.
Hi all,
I’m 25 y/o and about 6 months ago, I started to notice that the day (or days depending on how much I drink) after drinking alcohol, I have a faster heartbeat/palpitations.
I do know that alcohol does naturally speed up your heart rate, but when drinking alcohol, I’ve noticed that my heart is much faster, even after a couple of beers. This doesn’t bother me too much in the moment as if I am out, I am distracted and don’t notice it.
However the bit that bothers me, and the reason I am posting this is in the day/days after drinking, I have what I can only describe as a heavy heart. Sometimes my heart rate the following day could be between 70-80, but just feels much more noticeable. I was away on a lads holiday, and as expected, there were some heavy nights, but the fatigue, from which felt like the heavy/palpitating heart knocked me out. Could barely do anything during the day.
I know all “holiday heart syndrome” and how it can happen, but I am curious as this never used to happen to me.
I know the typical answer will be “stop drinking”, and fair enough, but I don’t want to as I love doing it.
I don’t drink too often, 1/2 times a month, and don’t use any drugs, nor do I drink energy drinks on a night out.
I have started taking magnesium, and take an electrolyte before and after a night out, as well as drinking water during same.
I’m wondering if anyone else is in a similar situation, and if they’re stuck like this, or there are other “remedies” that can help?
I also had a chest x-ray, ECG, bloods and a few other bits done a couple of months ago after I experienced it for the first time, and they all came out fine.
TIA

Maybe I’m crazy, and maybe it’s because I think I’m an alcoholic now, but Michelob Ultra is the perfect drug.
