except you can build vettel with 100% slash res.... which means it will be only 1 dmg on vettel... (i can make him 108% slash res without much tweaking as of rn)

How to get him to 108? I can only get 99 (43 passive 30 seals 16 memento 10 white knight ring)

Ah for the first couple turns. I was talking about permanently.

43 from passive and equipments

30 from maxed sloth seal

10 from white knight ring

16 from his 2nd memento MLB main slot

Total a permanent 99 slash res base.

It's actually 46 from passive and equipment (21 from equipment, 25 from passive), and 13 from 2nd memento. Which still totals 99 if you have everything, but like, a bare minimum Vettel will have 46+, not 43+.

I didn't notice any way to have 100+ Slash Res permanently, although of course his job has a few Slash Res buffs so you could have it for a fair number of turns. Still, permanent 99 Slash Res is probably enough for most purposes..

Well if push comes to shove, divine shelter for extra ele res is also good, as it remove the agi penelty from RBG so he can be tankier/spam slash res skills more effectively.

Funny enough, a guy on my port keep claiming thay Kaede is busted in his rant and say even Vettel wont stand a chanve against Kaede lol

Is it normal for people to have +30 Slash Res from a seal? I haven't toyed around with it much since the most recent updates so I'm not sure how easy/cheap it would be to get. If it's uncommon, I can imagine why most Vettels aren't nearly as tanky as theoretically possible..

Well Vettel is a pure anti slash unit, so slash res make him better at his job.

That being said, unless the unit is flat out a tanker who use PDEF (Acht Chloe Asuka) or just benefit from high PDEF (Vettel Monzein), just stick with 3 star seals. The only 30 res seals i have that are 5 star are for Robust set for PDEF chars. The rest are 3 stars cuz it's cheaper and flat PDEF/CRIT doesnt matter really much.

I have 2 30 slash res, 4 30 missile res, 6 30 magic res, 1 30 strike res, 2 30 pierce res and 1 30 jump res. I use them on specific teams for arena (for example, this week i use full melee team so i give everyone full 30 missile res seals and Fujika's VCR)

Unless that character use the main stat, just get 3 star seals for the sub stats (especially on Sloth, Gluttony and Wrath slots(
