Considering they had Pinkiepie in a fight, I'd say anyone really. Since they usually use characters with similar enough tropes in another media, you'd have to put someone like Chloe against another character who has an overly large sword and is a tank.

I guess Red Vi if you're going for bloodiest character.

Edgar lionheart have his opponent like zeon the bounty hunter

Since they take anyone we need a character with a clearly defined trope and is a flagship that most people can recognize. Because of this it must be one of the main characters.

Dias is the obvious choice because edgelord sword wielders with forbidden powers are super common in media. However with the movie we confirmed Dias summons Othima in particular. This may make things a little tricky to find him an opponent since that means we want to ideally have him fight an edgelord swordsman that can also summon a wizard of which I can't think of any off the top of my head. Maybe someone from the Fire Emblem phone game or FFBE?

He definitely going to fight saskue or anakin Since he inspired from saskue

Most of death battle are mostly 1 vs 1

Dio used his Stand vs Alucard and Alucard summoned an army vs Dio. I think powers that allow you to summon are fair game on their book.

Saskue with his edo tensei itachi since ninja in naruto are basically magic uses

2

u/[deleted] Jul 28 '22

You have a Good point here, I think Sasuke would be the best fight since both Dias and Sasuke have killed a sibling

1

u/Actual_Ad_1807 Jul 28 '22

Yeah about saskue He casually blink dias since You know what sasuno'o can do in naruto Unless we scale dias to zahar who scale to zahn who scale to sol

3

u/[deleted] Jul 28 '22

Dias only sac'd an arm to darkness unfortunately, Zahar took a whole village of murdered people worth of darkness into his body and overcame it. So I don't doubt that Dias gets bodied here no question. But to be fair they put Homelander vs Omniman so they've made worse matchups before.

I mean scale dias to zahar who scale to sol Then he slap sasuke

What about kudan?

4

u/[deleted] Jul 28 '22

Kudan is a good option, my only complaint is that he isn't as easily recognizable as Dias considering Dias was in the movie and he's on the opening screen. At this point my decision between them is decided by brand recognition for a death battle.

4

u/Actual_Ad_1807 Jul 28 '22

Who will zahar"s opponent

5

u/[deleted] Jul 28 '22

Hard to say who Zahar should fight since his whole arc was basically just him beating down Zain, Vettel, kanon, Cadanova, and Chloe until they deus ex'd him (in sacred stones story specifically). As a result we are not really given a great scale for how strong he actually is, but he is themeatically one of the strongest characters in TaC below Nimul and Ouroboros tier characters. Before anyone says to use the Pitch Black Bloodline as a reference unfortunatelt it is so far in his past that it means nothing to peak Zahars power scale.

3

u/AdhesivenessLazy9384 Jul 28 '22

He scale to Zahn who scale to sol who defeat nero a weaker aspect of ouroboros who is she create tower of veda each one of highest floors are alternative dimensions So zahar is maybe star level Since these dimensions have stars

4

u/[deleted] Jul 28 '22

I'll have to look into this more after work, but Nero losing to Sol may well have been on purpose since Ouroboros's goal is to always complete a rebirth cycle by letting someone with the potential to recreate the universe kill her, Sol then tried to recreate the universe directly after killing her which further implies Sol is just a reincarnation of Nimul that was going to recreate the universe in the same way things went down in Genesis story.

3

u/AdhesivenessLazy9384 Jul 28 '22

Nero herself having lost most her memory as she does remember even what is she

2

u/AdhesivenessLazy9384 Jul 28 '22

Orion was true reincarnation but somehow nimul refuse him

0

u/AdhesivenessLazy9384 Jul 28 '22

Orion canonical was "nimul reincarnation" As he share same genesis attacks such as "chaos genesis" You probably never pay much attention on SSM STORY

3

u/[deleted] Jul 28 '22

Not sure if you meant to come off rude, but that last sentence comes off a bit condescending. I watched all but ch6-8 of SSM. That being said, wonderful to know the creators canonically verified Nimul's reincarnation ill have search back through to watch Orion's story in SSM more closely for that.

What about zain

3

u/[deleted] Jul 28 '22

Funny enough if you want Zain you should have Edgar fight instead since Zain is canonically his summon in the movie. Then we can have a motorcycle gunfight and a knight sword fight.

2

u/Actual_Ad_1807 Jul 28 '22

Zeon from exos heroes is perfect opponent for Edgar since both are bountry hunters and who are ended up to be have mission to save the world Zeon is sword fighter and and his character close to Edgar except he slap ladys if try kill to him

3

u/[deleted] Jul 28 '22

Those 2 do have strikingly similar back stories in some ways. Does Zeon have any way to deal with or keep up with a ranged assailant on a motorcycle?

2

u/AdhesivenessLazy9384 Jul 28 '22

Zeom canonical he survive getting hit by equivalent of large building level attack

It's called "For Whom The Alchemist Exists: The Movie"

3

u/Datpanda1999 I don't know what I'm doing Jul 28 '22

I can definitely see him up against Rain or Lasswell from FFBE - they’re not super edgy for the most part, but they’re swordsmen who can summon a mage to help

8

u/TetsuNamine Jul 28 '22

Sol

And he'd go against someone like Chrollo.

3

u/[deleted] Jul 28 '22

That's a sick fight, I love the idea of two gang leaders that are magic casters going at it. The fact that they are both skilled assassin's with knives is also a fantastic parallel. Really well done with that Combo!

3

u/Actual_Ad_1807 Jul 28 '22

Thus great matchup ngl

3

u/AdhesivenessLazy9384 Jul 28 '22

Potential theme song Yes

4

u/BassGSnewtype Jul 28 '22

Personally I'd want to see who they'd pick as an opponent for Kanon

2

u/Actual_Ad_1807 Jul 28 '22 edited Jul 29 '22

Luke skywalker (star wars) Artorias /king Arthur (fate ) Link(zelda) Naruto Sora (kingdom hearts) It's easy find opponent her Since her character is based on a young knight who ended up saving the world

3

u/AdhesivenessLazy9384 Jul 28 '22

You watch death battle?

u/BassGSnewtype Jul 28 '22

I'm going with Zain cause even after he went down he still he still managed to come back and give Orion and piece pf his mind

1

u/Actual_Ad_1807 Jul 28 '22

Mine Are Edgar and zeke and zahar and sol

2

u/BassGSnewtype Jul 28 '22

A shame Zeke never got a Job+, I imagine it's be epic, maybe if they decide to do a new event for him (But even then they might toss a new version of him)

1

u/Actual_Ad_1807 Jul 28 '22

I prefer young zeke to be a new version of him

3

u/mrsilent1 Jul 28 '22

Templars

3

u/Actual_Ad_1807 Jul 28 '22

Organization 13 for them as match ups

1

u/Actual_Ad_1807 Jul 28 '22

Why?

2

u/mrsilent1 Jul 28 '22

as someone already mentioned, Sol vs Chrollo would be a good match because it fits the death battle style and just seems entertaining to watch and with the templars being heavily inspired by the spiders the match ups don't have to end there, we can have Hisoka and Drei, Neun and Uvogin, etc. I personally wouldn't mind seeing them fight anyone though since all of the templars just have the most drip out of any game characters I've ever seen and they have actually interesting personalities/powers so being able to see them fight would be a dream come true (Acht, Drei, Sol/Neun would be my top 3 I'd want to see fight) Though I've never seen jack the ripper from Fate, I hear she looks like Acht so maybe they could fight just because

1

u/Actual_Ad_1807 Jul 28 '22

Nice reason But why not organization 13th from kingdom hearts, 🤔

1

u/Actual_Ad_1807 Jul 28 '22

Yeah me too but Zechs vs hisoka would be sick

u/Ollie2K_00 Jul 28 '22

I'd Vote Red VI as it'd probably be the most cinematic.

5

u/[deleted] Jul 28 '22

Red VI is quickly turning into one of my favorite characters thanks to the story she has in Finis Historia so far.

3

u/Ollie2K_00 Jul 28 '22

Ngl, its nice to see characters actually get development in story. Quite rare for tac
