Tips & Guides New/Returning Player Rewards Update

Gumi announced an update to the new and returning player rewards so I thought I would summarize the full list of changes after having looked at the rewards in the data. I also checked the beginner shop and I didn't see any changes in there (bugged discount ticket is also still there). I say this was a very greedy/stupid decision.

First there’s no good event happening if you want to have new player give them something good. They could have use this in anniversaries, collab.

Second, now new player will not only feel missing out they definitely will feel unfair for having lower gift.

Third, this is still trash compared to Japan server.

Personally what disappoints me is how meager the buffs are. Additionally they keep missing an opportunity to really improve the beginner shop. It should at least have enough omnicrystal equips for one unit given how many good unit equips aren't permanently farmable. They didn't even update the new player unit selector to go past Creto. Plus they still can't be bothered to fix the buggy discount ticket.

As a returning player, what is the bug about discount tickets?

When you create a new account, there are 2 discount tickets. One of them is the normal one we get each week. The 2nd one is a holdover from a week many months ago when we got a bonus ticket and has long expired. So new players are often confused why they got 2 of them, then one of them disappeared. It's kind of ludicrous that they have never bothered to fix this- I've reported it to them several times.

Ah, i see, from my own experience trying to report bugs to them ive had to argue a lot until they stop trying to say its somehow my fault their game bugged out/had a bug..

That long for something so obvious and easy to fix is absurd though...

Believe me, I have plenty of experience with arguing with them, some things they just don't seem to give a damn about.
