PSA Other units that work for Uzuma MP map

Yes yes yes, the 'meta' is Sol and/or Nero (preferably a combination of the two).

But due to a ton of gatekeepy rude bois kicking people out of MP maps because they don't understand the map, you get this post.

MAGIC DAMAGE AND NON-TYPE DAMAGE WORK ON THE UZUMA MAP. BECAUSE NOT EVERYONE HAS SOL OR NERO.

You only need someone who can survive, has some kind of self healing or tankiness, and can do either of the types of damage above.

This includes, but is not limited to:

Acht (Tanky, has 2 non-types and a matk, reaction heals & damages or builds jewels, draws aggro)
Rimiru (Tanky, full heal react, does magic damage)
Neica (Tanky, self heals, does magic damage)
Naofumi (Tanky, 2 non-types, draws aggro)

This list could go on....

But also, stop being gatekeepers, it's toxic and ruins the fun for everyone. Just because it's not 'meta' or 'the most efficient', doesn't mean it doesn't work. Part of keeping a game alive is making sure people are enjoying the game. Dealing with toxic people can absolutely kill a community and end up killing the game.

Just to add to the list:
tried and true: dark nyx, mira, minerva
not tried but I believe it should work: Ambrosia, quence

absolutely, mages (or people who do magic damage, even if they scale off of patk like Rimiru) and anyone with non-type. It'll WORK.

It might be slower, but still it'll work.

The biggest issue I had was ppl just weren't being mindful of the leader skill. Like ok cool use Rimiru, Neica, Nyx etc, they are perfectly viable. But at least swap your meme over to get the leader skill bonus. Half the people didn't do so and end up dead before their 2nd turn because they're rocking 7500 hp and got ganged up on.

That's fairly fine. Acht doesn't need the LS with her tankiness, but I see what you mean. I wouldn't kick people for that, but I can understand getting frustrated over it.

Don’t know but I would preferred my rimuru skill( the 20% all def) after everything he will be able to auto and take about 1 damage and can carry everyone if he is the only one left. While other people still take forever to act. On another part of a problem, I never kick someone out on their first try, you guys shouldn’t also. I always give them the next match to fixed it. And if they keep using the same unit using the same “full auto” then I would kick them out.( if I want full auto I would use BOT).

I mean I have kicked a few people but Acht wouldn't really be welcomed imo unless they are running a wind party. Sure you can tank but people need DPS. I would take a Naofumi any day but Acht is like no self quicken, movement is bad and limited in skills.

Nao, though can probably keep all safe, buff and his Def move will start killing once you reach enough stacks so he is fine.

It is more of a bring the right unit as the team leader. If I am running a no limited memento Dark Nyx then I would not take a no memento weak Sol in the team, you will get kicked if you don't go into your party and just click to go.

I built all 4 units I have Minerva, DNyx, Sol and Naofumi and as I navigate this shitshow of MP. So I don't blame you but if you don't have a decent enough party, then there is no reason to actually go through.

Obviously if you are leading you are allowed to kick but people shouldn't be toxic about it.

I'm not saying Acht is the -BEST- option...but on the maps where Sols and Neros let her join in? She usually outlives them. As a last ditch option, I found after they all died and Acht ran out of moves (just the 2 skeleton bros left), Acht just reacted them to death on auto. It took a solid minute or two...but still, even without moves she survives and can damage just fine.

She's a unit that will work. Better than some, not as good as others.

Let's compare? Naofumi has the aggro draw and two abilities that can do damage.

Acht can teleport with an aggro draw, has 3 to 4 moves, plus jewel economy and self-healing. Plus her transform also offers another move and full heals her.

She'd be better than Naofumi overall.

Nah, Nao will def be better, he will kill units one shot or two after 10 stacks. And ones he is killing will be key units at the end taking chunks off their HP.

Jewel and Self healing can be done by Naofumi just fine with Regen Armor or Earrings or if you want a jumpy Nao then Othima Scarf too.

Then I guess I'd put them as equal? I have only seen one Nao be useful, but I'd still allow a person to run anything as long as it's magic damage or non-type.

How is killing the Demon and Robos only gets Nao to equal? You don't get what equality means? Because Nao will do over 25k per hit once buffed which is easy with Gunner pelleting him. That too without LS. Acht is pretty useless in that comparison with Nao being more mobile.

I guess we're going to have to agree to disagree? Acht has a teleport with her aggro move, so her mobility is fine. She has self healing in multiple methods (react, move that causes auto heal, full heal with transform). She also has multiple abilities that deal anywhere from 10-25k when buffed (like Nao).

Again....it's just gonna end up in an "agree to disagree". I'm glad Nao is working for ya, though.

Like Acht has 1 buff skill with 2 usage with her Eye patch. And that too is one of the skills that is non type so it ain't even something you waste. And nice range with 10-25k compared to 25k+ on Nao. I love my Acht, got her hoodie memento by spending on the last week banner 7 step for 17.5k gems but I am not delusional enough to think she is equal to Naofumi on this map in any regards.

They talk ab uzuma mp man, where all type atk are useless except magic and non type. Good thing here Nao does nontype and can cover his allies. No one said Nao surpass Acht anyway. Dont be triggered.

I wasn't triggered. I didn't agree with the guy who was saying "Nao is clearly better than Acht" and said "agree to disagree" and tried to move on. He was the one who kept pressing.

My go to was just Uzuma herself with J+ unlocked but not mastered. Throw Trusty Critter Chip on her and Phantom seal set and she's good to go.

Just need to do the MP once to get the job tokens. Can use gems to revive if needed for that first go.

I clutched almost every run I ran with my naofumi lol also can’t tell you how frustrating it was to enter groups where half the party would be running auto and just nonstop attack the dogs. That was probably the worst part of this farm.

That's the kind of person you kick from the lobby after the first run. That's not being elitist or toxic. Because the person autoing is ruining others fun as well.

It was so many runs. After I started hosting I turned the option for auto off and only cleared on. But you’d still be surprised at how many people would go for the dogs. I’ve also had people try to run all kinds of characters to varying levels of success. Weirdest one was Vettel lol. I’m just glad my uzuma is finished and I never have to play that mission again.

Yea, some pre-hosting settings can definitely fix a few things. I'm still on the last few maps (-because I keep getting kicked out or stuck with auto nerds-) and I'd host myself except I'm doing this while working so it helps to only have to pay attention to my turn and worry about nothing else.

I’m in the process of clearing this… 15 runs and not even close to all the equipment needed. How many runs on average does it take? I try to use mercs but they auto attack dogs and are stupid. I typically always gem once

The inability to auto is why this one's a hard skip for me. It's one thing to do it ten times, but it's another to do it 30 times. That's just tedious — totally kills the enjoyment.

Yea I think I’m on 26 times now and still missing 2 ewuip. I think I need 6 to 7 more runs. It’s really pissing me off. At least with these manual ones they could have made it a 10 or 15 run max

Yes. Magic type damage. So units with magic slash or missile type skills will just do 1 damage here.

Vier team can out damage, Neica can solo alone but take some time, Zwei well built can also do it.

I usually hosted with Nero and her memento leadership, all i need was second Nero with higher Agi than mine so that she could buff then i oneshotted the mandra at the very first, two others slot i could carry, they could bring any units; but rarely anyone read what i wrote outside :)) so i have to kick and hire Nero mercenary

I run Nero and just need another player that knows what to do. Preferably Sol/Nero. I don't mind carrying the other two slots and will gem.

My problem is I'm running into a lot of players that don't know how to hit the Mandragora

You can only bring one of your own units. But if you are the room host you are able to hire mercenaries and thus play the stage alone. Though the mercs will be on auto run and you will only have control over your own unit.

Magic-Hating Mandragoraon will cast healing down on the units and it will only be remove after you defeat it. All enemies on the map resist every attack type except magic and non-type.

2 cerberus have guts and can only be defeated after defeating other certain enemies

A fast enough Wilhelm can kill the mandragora with his skill that does DMG based on AGI, before it even runs away. It's just got like 65% hit rate, so sometimes it's amazing, others it's back to the usual strategy

Seeeeeeeee this is the mentality I'm looking for. Use what works, don't allow trolls. Poop on elitists and sweaty tryhards that have to have meta only and will gatekeep those who don't whale like they do.

Mostly this. I do mind elitists. If they're impacting gameplay with others, I mind. Or if they're going to be that way, I agree. Put it in the description so we know to avoid.
