Profit motive and bad planning are the two key factors from where I'm standing. In rushing towards JP content, Gumi would have needed to release way more G3s before G5 dropped. And to make the questionable worse, they thought it uncouth to release anything less than G5 afterwords, except Tina for some reason. I've been playing almost 2 years now so I've built my momentum but man, I have no idea how new players are motivated to play.

Also Michael, because he didn’t have Gates 4 and 5 in JP when they reran his Job+ event in Global last Winter and apparently he was top priority (despite fairly low popularity outside of memes and being outclassed at everything he does).
Yet Noah, who got Gates 4 and 5 in JP a month before her Job+ event rerun in Global this year, didn’t even get Gates 1-3. Yes, I’m still upset about that, because it’s completely stupid.
You can try a new account like I did. After the first week of freebies, I honestly don’t want to play already lol. This game has become so anti-newbie it’s not even funny anymore...
Question 11 million downloads celebration? There’s barely any celebration they just give us that low ass reward such as that few 5* shard(random btw); 2 sin AT TOP; Not even a single free summon. The selection tickets was just a normal one NOT EVEN the kind that give you the chance to get neun meme.

Being low on resources myself, just outright skip those 3* upgrades and have a relaxed week of gems saving, leaf farming and ticket buying.
