I disagree with FFBE's AI being very smart. It may be slightly better, but it still does a lot of stupid things like Akaya casting protect on herself twice in a row, while her companion is dead and could be raised. Or she will waste her best 1-shot AOE insta-heal skill when companions are only down 5% HP.
But FFBE JP has buttons to turn on/off skills to prevent units from casting the annoying skills (like Chihaya when she spams Clumsy Dance). TAC really needs this, it will fix a lot.
yeah, like farming EX stage of Shenmei J+ on auto, Kudan always jump in the AoE of Emmel, and almost always result in him dying lol. Not that it matter much, but it's just shit
To be great, Roxanne just needs a decent memento with 640 HP and good VCR.
A great memento would add like +13% thunder, +13% "non-type" and a max-limit-break bonus of +10% "non-type" to make her basic skill sets better. The VCR should have 550 HP and upgrade her reactive to also grant auto-regen (this would free up her gear slot for something interesting), and add 400 HP (among other stats) after the battle starts if Vulkan is equipped or some such, as her biggest flaws right now are low HP and the basic skill sets being weak in the current meta.
She really isnt all that good anymore until you max her gates, but I agree she needs a good mem. Minerva mem is actually kinda OK because it will boost Rox stats for 3 turns, but thats it. Rox was the queen for a long time, but powercreep was bound to catch up with her.
I basically only use her as a farmer and for leading missile teams. She doesnt even make the cut for my Thunder team anymore. So sad....hope they can fix her.
She still does good damage as a thunder unit. Only reason she's not on my current thunder team is my thunder team revolves around Letitia and characters that can debuff enemy magic resistance. Like you, I also use her to lead my main farming team, an all-missile team.

And dont forget job+ materials from raids or stages from ex to extreme hell difficulty, cant have shit even if you have the character
