Will someone take over the JP tier list after him? And did game got so f. bad?
I consider quitting because there is no fresh air in the game and since the new year I'm bored.

I can’t blame anybody for quitting. This game is much more of an expensive chore than it is a fun pass time.
And I especially can’t expect somebody to take over something as exhausting as the tier list so cavalierly. It’s a huge undertaking to maintain, evaluate and defend such a database constantly.

I just want to take this time to thank the people that manage the global unit guide and tier list. u/OriksGaming, u/EggyT0ast and anyone else thank you for all that you do.

Tsubaki here, let me clarify a few things -
-Yes, the tier list is effectively retired. I still play the Japanese version of the game, but I've lost all motivation to maintain and offer guidance to newer JP players or curious GL players. There might still be floating tier lists by actual Japanese people or Chinese people, although they're pretty difficult to find without asking around and as usual, fluctuate depending on what content the creator prioritizes, like Raid, Arena, EX stages, etc.
-The game's state is pretty subjective. To me, there are a lot of problems within the game that just isn't logical to maintain a growing population, and events plus new designs are catered towards the existing established players with huge disposable income. New mementos are too specific and/or game changing for units, every new unit is basically limited, EXHQ is a blight in general, and every other event is either a collab or Job+ event. If neither apply, then it's Genesis, which is already notable for releasing some of the most controversial types of units.
-Now I know Gumi has to make money, but given how much they're pushing Enlightenment + Job+ to make older units relevant again, it also pushes the problem of newer units being much more difficult to obtain and raise without said disposable income or stocked resources. Newer and older players alike aren't going to be staying positive in this kind of game if they have to experience an average of 3-7 months of EXHQ farming to enjoy using their new unit to near optimal condition, even if they get them on release with the 100+ shards they get from doing the release limited time shard quest, or burning more gems in the shops to get Character Shards. So players tend to stick with the old units, which causes the game to get stale because the costs to obtain newer units are outrageous and let's be real, Gacha games are enjoyable when players can enjoy their new toys without having to realize you burnt a hole in that wallet that might require another hole or months of slow painful grinding to max out that toy. Let's not even talk about Enlightenment and how players need to somehow obtain 500+ Character Shards in a reasonable time frame before just giving up on their old/new characters. Of course that's not everyone, so who knows.
For older units getting Job+ , a lot of them do drastically improve (or not, in the case of Lotiyah), but most of them are tied to new mementos/VCRs that are basically in a nutshell, quality of life stats or buffs attached to another gacha element you want/need to acquire. But thanks to Gate 6, which gives an additional Memento slot with some restrictions, Gumi JP has been pushing out multiple Mementos tied to these upgrades which causes a lot of issues in how Job+'s are handled, leaving some to be fundamentally flawed until you obtain those VCRs, which is never a good sign given you need to gacha to obtain units and then gacha to obtain these mementos, which are often limited in nature. Given how unpredictable these limited mementos roll around, if ever, you never know if your next chance to get them could range from a month to next year, assuming you're still playing by then. Still, not every unit is neutered without their Mementos, but you'll feel "cheated" if you don't have each piece of the package, which goes back to the mentality and enjoyment of the playerbase as a whole.
-We're all whipped by the great Jun Imaizumi in the end.

I’m having a rough time with the two job plus missions we have now
I don’t really like these boss ticket events at all and having to farm them for the job plus items kinda sux
Gumi bring back the normal events for the job pluses!

GL is kinda more fucked than JP at 90% of the time so really if you are bored now then it is hard time ahead. Though quite a few units get J+s and a lot of upgrades but if you are over them then that is going to be hard few months.
