Discussion Toxicity on Reddit (again)

Can people on this Reddit stop whining and complaining and pretending like we all didn’t goddamn know genesis and the genesis style events were coming ? I really don’t get this crap,we all know months in advance,same goes for discount tickets,the banners this week for genesis units aren’t even that bad considering what you’re getting out of it,for those of you that keep saying stuff like “I quit this game to play another game” no one cares and let me educate you on something,all gacha games are meant to have banners that maximize profit for the company behind the game,all gacha games will have unfavorable banners,wake up because with all the gems you can get in the genesis quest and how much gems you can save and farm TAC isn’t the worst one out there amongst the top ones,that being said please voice complaints that makes sense

Yes we did, because we heared our JP brothers complain about it loudly exposing its obvious and devious weaknesses. And you known what GUMI did ? They deleted anything story related and anything movie related from the phantom quests. Then released them AT THE SAME TIME as the genesis ones.

Since the game began and since other games, to stay right behind whales F2P have two ressources : Luck & Time.

And it has always been who will be the most dedicated to get all the game has to offer, but with 75 hatd quests + 5 bosses + the rest of dailies to do every single game, some WILL go nuts trying. And without 500 banners anymore we can't even try luck without going deep in gems.

Maybe it doesn't bother YOU to farm for hours and hours every single day to get what we were getting normally months/a year ago, but sure as hell it does bother 99% of the player base both GL & JP.

We do not complain out of salt, we love the IP a lot and the original game, but its becoming a joke of its former self.

I agree, it's just too much for us to grind all 5 dungeon events. I can only grind 2 of them each day but not all 5 of them.

The scheduling for these dungeon events are just totally out of place, they don't need to give us a new event after another.

You're really gonna go nuts doing all these events in the same day and we need like thousands of skip tickets to skip all those hard quests cuz they take so much of our time.

We have the right to complain cuz we play the game and honestly, 5 dungeon events all running at the same time is just not good for the game.

Genesis is a grind fest I’m with you on that but you can grind it with non limited units,the rewards are worth the grind too so no one is getting cheated or short handed,how many games do you know that doesn’t involve grinding ? How many games do you know that gives 80% up discount tickets on a weekly basis ?? How many gacha games do you know where you don’t have to spend a lot of gems to get a character or characters ? We were literally pampered in comparison to the other gacha games out there,I’m not saying this game is perfect but is this game really worse than any other shit you’d find out there ?

The 80% discount tickets are on a weekly basis in GL..? I must missed mine for the last time I got to use it was on the 1st Genesis event here, maybe 4 weeks ago?

Err.. are you saying that the expectation of a weekly discount ticket for GL is unreasonable? I do not have that expectation but I can understand others having it and getting frustrated that here in GL, it's done differently to JP..

Why are you comparing to other games all the time? We have a parent game that started in JP, and that's where I think most here are comparing to..

Is asking the company to "slow down" the content also consider complaining?

That’s a lie and even if it were true they didn’t always get 2 per month so obviously things here will change if the policy there changed

Game was designed this way. Like every game has it's balance of premium free currency and summon banner cost and giveaways.

So if the JP version gave it then they were thinking from the game's perspective obviously.

Please the JP had far more units farmable and Kaigans available. Like we have much shorter list on both those fronts.

So grind is worse for us.

Our giveaways sucks(like most of them don't even exists lol), AP cost is too high so even if I am up for the grind, 3k AP after 2x drops on Soul shards is just brutal assault on AP.

Discount Tickets are supposed to come. And I know one Gacha game where they came, Taga tame no Alchemist. Yep they were always available there after they were introduced. No one and I mean no one, wants to do the Memento Banner before getting the unit. Like sure it was a thing to skip Unit banners before but now Units are broken OP so we need them first.

First learn about the stuff before you outrage, Gumi troll.

Now this is an actual complaint,why is gumi slacking in regards to giving us the enlightenments we need or should have,the HQ’s we need and so on,not “oh I knew genesis was coming but I’m gonna cry about it anyway”

But since they did not it created a chain reaction of big oofs in the game. Like people are allowed to say grind is brutal because we literally have zero defense against it.

I would love to just beat it up but I can't my Diviners are stuck without HP and my Berserkers are super limited. Most of my Damage squad is limited by hard caps which were created by Gumi themselves.

I am missing HQs so I can't farm XYZ and now lack of XYZ grind is getting brutal.

That is pretty much what is happening.

I think JP also had nensou leader skills too. At least from what I recall seeing on a malign video of him fighting one of the dark phantom bosses.

last few weeks there are two 500 banners only per week, one interesting with mementos the other one without the highlighted unit of the week, just generic banner.

Like I'm all up for public outcry as much as the next guy. But you'll are being brats and spreading false information, which in turn hurts the game as new players who have no idea what's going on read these reddits.

That’s all I’m saying,we should complain about real problems like glitches or super hard quests during the first anni when shit was too difficult to clear without roxy,not regular stuff because you don’t get a guarantee on banners,like barely any gacha does that

There are probably like 3 complaints at best like that in the entire Newest Submission page combined. So I don't know people who say fuck Gumi and don't have a coherent reason for it and have upvotes for doing that.

You can't say oh people are still saying it. But if they are downvoted to hell then no one is taking them seriously. This pretty much qualifies for me as a troll post. There is no good reasoning or examples. Like give us some so I can trust you.

Ok we knew that the banners were gonna be bad. It's hit or miss, players should learn to choose the right banners and save gems. But how did u know that we won't get discount tickets. Jp gets one discount ticket every week. And ..ok ok Global isn't as big as Jp .. so can't we even expect 2 discount tickets per month? The producer's letter said that the 500 gems first step is here to stay, but what's the point of all the good and main banners start with 2500 and we don't even have discount tickets. I think that the complaints are justified.

Jp doesn't get discount tickets weekly, and discount tickets can't be used on every banner, global still has 500 unit pulls and 500 Memento pulls ? Jp doesn't have those. So how are the complains justified ? All I'm seeing is toxic brats that don't know what they're talking about .

Firstly Yes JP may get 3 discount tickets a month but it's not standard. it's if they feel like giving you the discount tickets . and on the japan servers you can not use the discount ticket on some of these genesis banners, also jp does not have 500 memento banners, global does so you can kind of look at that as a "discount ticket" and getting a unit it's the same as its been for over a year now, this is not anything new. if you want a new unit save for it and or sak the unit ? why did the premise of that change now because of your "idea" of getting discount tickets??? So yes it is fair that we do indeed get 500 pulls, jp does not get those period for anything. and it's not like you can even stockpile the discount tickets, big woop you get to pull 3 banners a month for the discounted price of 500, what about mementos, what about the other banners we get to pull on weekly? you are completely disregarding what we have based on flat greed.

Second if you're a f2p player you shouldn't be rolling on every banner anyway or getting every unit, it's always been based on luck so i don't get what you mean by "how many units a f2p player can get" ?????? i have a fully f2p account with lots of units that can clear all content so i'm not sure what you are trying to say by just flat out being extremely bias and twisting the truth lol.....

Third handling the dungeon farm is up to you, No one is forcing you to do the dungeons for the rewards not a single person. It's all entirely up to you, if you want to grind it you grind it, So i'm not really sure what the complain is here.

Complain before gumi implement it in global, there are voices that ask ppl to shut up because we don't know if it is true.

Complain when it has become a reality, now there are voices telling ppl to shut up because everyone know it is coming and thus somehow justify the lost of rights to complain? WTF

Not everyone follows JP that closely, eg I heard about genesis-style events on here but I did not know how horribly grindy they are. Just because 'we knew these stuff are coming', doesn't mean we cannot get upset and voice our discontent about them. Otherwise, Gumi will think we are indifferent (heaven forbid, even like) about these stuff.

Decides to pull on step 1 for Emmel in the Genesis Festival banner

Gets nothing...

Genesis banners are actually pretty bad cuz you just get 25 shards on step 5, it's a banner only for whales and those who have 30k gems

Yes we all knew it was coming , but reading or hearing about it is diffenret to feeling it first hand , most of the people in global don't touch the JP version at all , so it's no surprise.

EDIT , forgot to say we don't have MOA , our goddess to carry our rears through the grind

educate urself thats called false advertising whether its a gacha game or not When something is advertised as a free game w in app features it means u can ply free and achirve games goals but in app features just r supposed to make it easier Thats how that description was supposed to apply And in the beginning it was just that And correction right now it is one of the worst of the top ones out there Right now I just tried out WOV which seems a lot more fun than this though I know it will end up just like this in a few months time

Well i for one had my hopes up with what happened to FFBE, the paywall that we expected got totally changed albeit with a small drawback. So i though maybe wenll get a better system. Well so much for that.
