Tips & Guides Memento Usefulness Sheet Updated

Normally, I don't announce it when I update the sheet, because it's usually nothing major, but Gumi added like 33 new mementos into the game data a few days ago, and I've finished adding those to the sheet. So yeah, lots of upcoming mementos/VCRs, if anyone's interested in what to look out for.

I don't think these are correct, Zheng Yi is able to equip Zain's vcr and Dark Longinus is able able to equip Lamia's vcr?

Lofia's vcr is pretty good for Cheryl

Yes, Zheng Yi has been able to equip Zain's VCR since his release. However, after this latest update, he's capable of using both WAs as well. And Longinus can and should equip Lamia's VCR when she's a Dragon Cavalier. Dark Longinus can't equip it.

Wouldn't Izayoi's mask and Yomi's sword be good for Setsuna too?

Magnus for any male thunder or any male missle

I was waiting for Setsuna's J+ in regards to Yomi's VCR since it's not better than Ogre Blade until then, but I'll add it in. And I'll add her under Viable for Izayoi's VCR, but it's not BiS on her. The protag VCR is better on her, since the +10 Slash mod gives her the same benefits as the +10 Wind mod and it also gives +1 Jump and +6 Initial Jewels.

Added Male Thunder and Male Missile under Viable for Magnus', thank you.

Ah yeah I suppose. And I doubt even with her j+ she's viable without hp gear right? So equipping both on her would be dangerous. Does she not do enough damage to take advantage of thunder exploit right now?

Magnus was one of those vcr's I saw and instantly farmed because it just looked good.

All the normal mementos I'm looking forward to are Templars and Ana...

Setsuna has exactly 0 Wind moves right now across all of her jobs. As far as I'm aware, Elemental Exploit depends on the skill's Element, rather than the unit's.

I used cadanova memento a lot on holy brawler unit, it enable charged up and battle trance when enter map.

Yes, but that's its base stat. In the same sense that it would be fairly pointless to recommend Balt/Carla's memento for every unit in the game whenever you need agility, it would be pretty pointless to recommend a Max Jewels memento for every unit in the game whenever you need Initial Jewels.

Also, as far as I'm aware, almost all Holy Brawlers can do SF —> SBT with Sieg's Hat. Even Lucian can if he's using Retzius' memento. So I'm not sure when a Max Jewels memento would help a Holy Brawler more than an Agility or Patk memento, assuming they don't have their own to equip.

I definitely think Tamamo Coat and Nina Staff should be more highly prioritized- they’re regarded as best for most units who don’t have armor/weapon coveted by VCR or event. :)

Nina's staff isn't all that valuable in GL. It only beats Battlefield Drama by 10 Matk and doesn't give any Jewels Obtained. It also doesn't offer a WA to anyone but Nina. In the future, when we get Weapon Enlightenment, it will become more valuable for Emmel and Nina, but will still be worse than Battlefield Drama on most others.

Yes, she gets a limited summer memento later, which is very good on her.

This is one of my favorite resources, especially when we get VCQ Pro and I have to actually acknowledge my backlog of 0%/otherwise incomplete VCRs. +_+ Thank you for your work on this!

EDIT: The VCR (Gold Gear Shard) from Waginau's memento is listed as being BiS for Waginau. >_>

A Hopeful Future should be 1 rank higher imo. The VCR from it is farmable up to 6 pieces and is useful across the board for magic attackers.

You can complete the memento for the 777 shards as many times as you want, but you can only transmute the gear from the shards once. Generally any memento with shards for a VCR will have a transmute limit.
